  I made one off-reboot the box. After more than 200 updates all seems to work fine only takes 35 seconds to load instead of the 10 minutes before.
  But have one problem: try to watch Youtube videos, I get the message I have flash player, no probs.
  I download flash player, it said installation successful, fine, not when I go on Youtube and select the song that I'm informed that I need flash player to watch.

  I expel flashplayer and install again, but still same message you need flash player to view.

  Have you tested it with different browsers?
  IE9, Firefox or Google Chrome?

  Check if all the cities of the browser have the same problem with the Flash Player.

  p.s. Presentation adobe acrobat 9.0 is installed... got the 2755 error message. Server returned an unexpected error 1601 attempt to install the package.

  OS (Operating System) is Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc.

  The browser is Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc..

  Since you mention FP 10 plugin and ActiveX, I suggest you try the following

  • Download uninstaller http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157_fr FP

  • Close all browser windows and start the program uninstaller (to uninstall previous versions of PS)

  • Download the FP for Internet Explorer installation program:

    • http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/Install_flash_player_ax .exe

  • for other browsers:

    • http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/flashplayer/Current/install_flash_player.exe

  • Close all browser windows and run the install (s) downloaded

  I just installed Firefox on Windows 7, then installed the plugin FP - no problem at all.  Ditto for Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7.

  I suggest that you download and run the uninstaller http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157_frFP, then install the plugin and ActiveX again.

  I use firefox 4 and I can't watch videos on you tube. I updated and reinstalled adobe flash drive twice with no result. I also tried the other controls, safety block, cache, pop ups etc works fine on IE. Hope someone has a solution. I've always liked firefox but not the most recent versions and a lot of changes.

  I can't believe that you're still under Firefox 4. Why not a newer version?

  There are a number of active threads on the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (12-13). Not all users have the same problems, but things to check are the following:

  -Conflict with the Realplayer browser Record plugin (to disable this, open the modules from the orange Firefox button or the menu classic tools and look under the categories of Extensions and Plugins)

  -Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see Adobe Forums: how to disable the safe_mode of Flash Player for Firefox?)

  Computer model number would be useful.

  1. open computer.
  2. go in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.
  3. scroll down and open the C:\windows\system32\macromed folder.
  4. open the Flash directory.
  5 click right FlashUtil9b.
  6. Select run as administrator.
  7. when the UAC prompt appears, select continue.
  8. follow the installer of Flash Player.

  If this does not in any 64-bit try 32-bit

  You won't find in programs because it is not a. It is a browser plugin and will appear in Firefox Add-ons (or Plugins for IE)

  You can download the Windows Flash Player 11.9 projector which is a stand-alone player, but it lacks most of the controls as videos have in a web browser.

  You can find the FLV files play MUCH better if you use VLC Media Player.

  I used it for FLV, MP4, MPEG, MOV, WMV and AVI playback for years.

  After a Mac update, flash player (with silverlight) asked to be installed when I tried to watch the video content or play games.  I installed flash player, and it indicates success and appears in my apps.  However, I can't watch videos or play games, whenever I ask me to install flash player again and again and again.  I suspect it has something to do with the plugins, but I'm not sure.  I uninstalled the program and reinstalled but it still does not work.  I check my security settings and it does not allow plugins.  I deleted my temporary internet files.  I don't know what else to do.  Any help would be appreciated!  It's incredibly frustrating.  Thank you

  In Safari, go to Preferences > Security

  Make sure to allow JavaScript and Plugins allow are checked

  Click on manage Web sites

  On the left, choose Adobe Flash Player, and then ensure that always allow is selected.

  I hope this helps.  While you're there, you see something like AdBlock Pro Ghostery, Badger to private ScriptBlock, NoScript, etc in the list on the left?

  I'll just update that I can't really do anything else. I found several other unanswered questions like mine. I found an answer that mentions that it can be the video card in place, so I'll post a screenshot of my information.

  I posted this question 25 and have not yet received response. Because of this problem of crash, I can't do anything on my computer apart from solitaire game and hang out Adobe communities looking for an answer. I found several issues like mine (Mac, firefox, flash player constantly crashing) who have no answers either, and I'm getting upset. I've been floating around Mozilla and Apple Help sections, and there is no answer there either. How can I get an answer? Or is there just no fix for this problem and Flash player does not work on mac more? Y at - it another program that I can use instead of Flash player? I like a lot to an answer, the answer, or anything cause I've stuck here until then. Thank you for you time.

  Since last week, Adobe Flash Player did not work on my computer at all. I can't watch videos and a webpage using Flash for accidents of ads.  I tried to use Adblock, thinking at first that the ads were the problem because they froze my computer in the past. There is nothing, so I went through the guide for Flash on the Mozilla Web site problems.  I removed all plugins, disabled acceleration hardware and even uninstalled Firefox and Flash player, then the reinstalled again. Still, it crashes and I don't know what to do anymore.   Is there something that can be done? Thank you for your time.
