I changed my iCloud account and all my contacts are gone?

Hello

My husband and I shared the same iCloud account, which has recently caused problems. So tonight, I deleted his iCloud account and added my own.  Since that all my contacts disappeared!  I tried a sign-out and return in the original iCloud account but it then gives me all the contacts from my husband and not mine?

I have a backup on my mac for a year, but if I restore this backup phone he will remove all new things, messages from photos, applications etc?

don't know what to do?

Have you and your husbands contacts mixed up at some point in all of this? If Yes, what you could do to iCloud.com login to your Mac with the original account and go to settings. In the lower left corner, click the option restore contacts. You can restore the State of the iCloud contacts on this account to the archived dates, as you see in this area. When you do this, it creates a backup of the contacts in their current state, if you find that you need to return the contacts to be what he had here before you went here. If you restore the contacts on a date that seems to recover your contacts as well, (you want to be logged on your iPhone with this account then what is happening and contacts switched on the account) then after the contacts seem to have stopped catering to go forward and turn in iCloud on your iPhone contacts and choose to keep on the iPhone when the ability to delete them from your iPhone. After having done that, open a session on this account, sign in with your account and merge contacts when you are prompted to. That will push your contacts in your own iCloud.

Don't forget to go to the backup on iCloud.com after all this is done and go to settings to restore the Contacts in their archives when they were just appearing as contacts of husbands.

  • Did a clean install, but now I can't get online and all my programs are gone.

Original title: Ok, so I inherited Dad's cell phone.

First dad was 'buried' for more than 2 years now, it hurts, but I'm done crying.

My mother gave me an old laptop my father, thinking I could use it to make all these school of collage stuff...

    She was good and evil.

I will not go into the details, but it took any format!

    Good news, bad news...

I have a beautiful mobile own...

I have no video, sound or other driver software that I need from a friend of my father stole the folder software for this laptop. (he did after dad died and I was going to come home)

To make worse than it currently is... this laptop does not connect Internet in ALL circumstances. I ran the wizard, checked the modem provided by suddenlink (works fine on my desktop PC), the only thing I can say is I think that the network card is fried... Since the fires near the ethernet cord are not on

  • My computor would not start windows, so I got the opption to boot with the disc. But with the TI istalled a new windows 7 on my computor and all my files are gone. How can I get the file.

second copy of windows 7 has been installed. How can I retrieve my files from the old copy of windows 7

That depends on the options you chose when you made the installation.  If you chose to keep your old files, you can view the folder c:\windows.old .  If you opted to install on another partition, you can retrieve the files from the old partition.  Otherwise, you would have to have supported your computer before reinstalling.

When you got your system back as you, I invite you to buy an external hard drive, and a good backup 3rd party program. You can configure it to automatically do everything in time and frequency of your choice. External hard drives 1 TB are about $85 these days and a very good FREE backup program corresponds to the Easeus todo backup free of charge that you can download from

http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm . Who can make you save a lot of time and frustration, the next time something like this happens. Sooner or later, it happens to all computers for one reason or another.

    Good luck.

I have an iPad with iOS 3 9, my problem is that iPad have the former owner iCloud account and can't get in touch with him and I don't know the password to remove his account, of course, I want to use my icloud account.

Well, unfortunately, you can not. The phone you bought is locked with a lock Activation and only the person who put the lock on or someone who knows that people Apple ID and password can remove it. Return it for a refund if you can. You will never be able to sign with your iCloud ID, and if you ever restore the device, you won't be able to use it.
