I continued to have this message flashing on the screen "ERROR of LOADING of THE OPERATING SYSTEM" after the restart when loading the software Window XP.

Original title: someone help please?

Working on my old computer, a pentium 4, card mother GA81PE1000, I continued to have this message flashing on the screen "ERROR of LOADING of THE OPERATING SYSTEM" after the restart when loading the software Window XP. After so many years, working on the construction of computer & repair, it's new to me.

So I checked the Microsoft Website for answers from people with the same problem in the past and apply their suggestions, nothing works... hard drive replaced, the changed value in the bios, did everything possible, still nothing works, phenomenal for me, please help me find an answer, thank you?

Hello

1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
2 - what you want to say that you receive this error message during the installation of Windows XP?

Check to see if the following is useful.

Method 1: Disconnect all devices non-essential connected to the computer and restart. Check to see if it boots normally.

Method 2: You may need to check the settings of the BIOS (Basic Input\Output System). Check if the hard drive is detected. If this is not the case, check the physical connections. Refer to the manual to check the same.

Warning of the BIOS:

BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

It happens every time I try to open a new page.

I solved this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and install Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser again wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11. Although I do not often use my IE browser, I DON'T have to use sometimes. Is there a Firefox 15.0 update to fix this problem?

First of all, the Flash of the IE is totally different than the flash used in Firefox. You can update one without affecting the other.

Now, there is a problem right now with Flash 11.3 and 11.4 in Firefox. Downgraded to 10.3 is an acceptable solution for the moment. Adobe publishes the updates (slowly) that solve the problems, but it is not a matter of time before they are all fixed.

    Hello

I have a PC running Windows XP Pro on which I run several programs. After the opening of a few applications, I have this message "not enough memory".
When I have this message, I can't open another application, or those in Windows... I have 2 GB of memory and only 700 MB are used.
If I open the calculator several times (about 65 times), I have the same result.
Sometimes, I get no error message, but the application does not open.

    Someone knows why?

    Thank you

Original title: why I have this message?

floppy drive seek failure. I don't have a floppy drive on my cumputer.

    Hello

This problem occurs if the following two conditions are met:

The computer has no floppy drive.
    1. the floppy drive is enabled in the BIOS settings.
    2. for example, this problem may occur if the floppy drive is enabled in the BIOS settings by default.

To resolve this issue, use the system setup program to disable the floppy drive in the computer BIOS. You can contact the manufacturer of your computer to help make these changes.

    Warning of the BIOS:

  • I have this message on my desk: < root windows > \system32\hal.dll.

original title: a little too technical for me this answer...

I have this message on my desk:\system32\hal.dll.

But according to the ansver on the support line, it is too technical for me, I put the CD rom and pressing the "F2" on the keyboard it lead me to a blue page with 3 columns, vertical on the left side with a menu to select with: System, readers, devices on board, video... so onon the system one I tried the boot sequence but get stock there.

I don't know if I took the right track!

    Can anyone help please?

WINDOWS COULD NOT FIND START BECAUSE THE FILE IS MISSING OR DAMAGED
    WINDOWS ROOT>\SYSTEM32\hal.dll

This message is rather misleading.  It happens because the boot.ini file that tells where to look for 'Windows' boot is damaged, so it is looking for the files in the right place - hal.dll is be the first person he's looking for. Set the BIOS to boot CD before the hard drive.  Start the XP CD and at the installation site, take the immediate R for repair.  Assume that any requested password is empty.

    At the command prompt, type:

    H r s C:\boot.ini attrib [press Enter]
DEL C:\boot.ini [press Enter] [to remove the bad]
BootCfg /Rebuild [press Enter] [to search an installations of Windows, and make a new one]

Remove the XP CD and hopefully restart Windows. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Hello

    1. do you receive this after you see Start button or entry?

2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

Reference: How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

, Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Make a backup of ASR, saved, but at the end of the record, I got this message: discovery of the ASR diskette has not been created.

at the end of the recording, I got this message: discovery of the ASR diskette has not been created. You will not be able to restore an ASR backup without the system information stored on this disk. What does that mean? Should I save my data otherwise? I don't have a floppy drive (I'm surprised if someone does) but I have a dvd read/write cd drive... One last thing. When I looked at the content on the flash drive with program de-Frag it was lit, which means completely fragmented, the program recommended it de-fragment it... is this safe with a file of this size on a flash drive?

Original title: Saving went well, but

Windows XP is too old to do something other than a floppy drive.  If the automated system recovery disk is important to your backup and restore needs (HINT: YES it IS!) then get a USB floppy drive to create the ASR disk.  Or get a copy of most modern backup and restore program that works under XP and use modern media (USB, CD/DVD, keys etc.) to create a startup/recovery media.
