I created an adobe account and I am currently trying to install creative cloud in order to try the trial version of photoshop and lightroom, but I can't get insofar as the process of checking e-mail and adobe is sending the e-mail to my email from hotmail to nephews who is not associated with this account. He used my iMac in November but I only created this adobe account this week. His e-mail address is not linked to this account anyway... help. I really need to try out photoshop and lightroom and do not want to buy the monthly where the same problems occurs. Thanks in advance.

What you need to do is to get him to sign with the cloud on your computer, uninstall and clean all Adobe, then login with your account
Disconnect the TWO accounts... Uninstall... to run vacuuming...

Trying to install creative cloud, stops at halfway and gives me "error Code: 1'." When I looked at what that means, it tells me to uninstall, then try again. There is nothing to uninstall. I disabled my firewall and disable all security software. Even went to the properties to UNLOCK program to settle, giving permissions to all. Even as an administrator. Even tried in safe mode, nothing. Same mistake NEVER ONE TIME! Then I downloaded Adobe Assistant I think that another program... Using the Support Chat from Adobe is the ONLY way it worked! It just took about an hour. But I insisted for them to take over my computer. There was much too much that they had to do, open, and delete stuff. They had to download additional software to try to solve it. They had mistakes throughout, but now installed InDesign Creative Cloud AND. As I said, ask them to do it for you because it's worth against the endless hours, I tried to resolve the question of my own, search the forums, make suggestions, without success. Once I saw my program PASSES the bar of 42%, I knew that they fixed. They will still open the program to ensure that it properly installed. If you highlight the contact on the Adobe site, answer a few questions and then click on NEED of EXTRA HELP. Then connect to the chat. TOTALLY FREE! And you just sit back and watch everything they do, for about an hour. How long approximately it is. But they know what they're doing for sure. As I said, I tried all the available on websites, forums, chats and connect them directly to my computer support, IS THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED they are awesome if you get someone who knows what they're doing, unlike only one, that I had later in the night, which had no idea. I've disconnected and got another person, which sets the creative cloud. Now the rep just fixed and installed InDesign. Save yourself the extra stress as if I was, because I was so frustrated! They are awesome

I discovered this morning that when I reinstalled Adobe Audition CS6 following a reinstall of my OS several weeks ago creative cloud was also installed without my knowledge. I do not use creative cloud, and when I tried to run the program to uninstall creative cloud, I was told I couldn't because there are applications on my computer that required it.
This is not true. I had been using hearing for several years without creative cloud. And - to my knowledge - the only other Adobe apps on my computer are Adobe Reader and Flash player plugins, etc.
Then I logged on my Adobe account, whereupon I was informed that Adobe Creative cloud could not be used on my computer because my operating system does not support.
Really? This leads me to ask, then, why - if Adobe thinks he knows my computer and my needs well enough to install software without my consent - it install an application that was not compatible with my operating system... and then tell me that I couldn't uninstall it because several applications required it?
I like Adobe Audition. But there are other audio apps out there I could go to in a second, from companies that are not so arrogant as what what they please, with the computers of the users.
Is there something I am overlooking here?
The Creative Cloud Manager replaces what was the Adobe Application Manager - you have not the creative cloud installed as much as you think the management part.
Myself, I just uninstalled as soon as I saw it on my machine I have / did not want to interfere with my machine somehow CC. I'm so without a Manager, but also with less worry about CC with my CS programs.

I bought the creativity could my laptop yesterday, then tried to install it from my pc where I already had the test version. He told me that he needs an update, so whenever I try to update, it starts and then stops at 2%, telling me that connection tries to connect to the server.
