I delete search Google Firefox but it always comes back. How can I get rid of it for good?

I deleted from my search provider Google. I've used about: config to remove all references to Google. After the closure of Firefox once or twice, Google is back and fits as my default search provider. I scanned for viruses and rootkits, but my computer seems to be clean.
