I did not install the updates of the system since May 31, get a code error 80070641 and 641

I get an error 80070641 and 641 code. When I look in my install/uninstall list, I can't find Windows Installer

Hi Klaus,

Have Q: you used any sort of registry cleaner/tuner-top/tweaker?

If you have, that is why the installation service is 'away' {a registry entry is missing, even if the Setup is still really on your system}.

See my answer marked as answer here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_update/i-cannot-download-the-new-updates-from-may-8-2012/b9b4a982-5b4d-4218-8a47-917515ede136

Please inform about the results.

If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network at the time the anti-virus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Can not install the latest version of iTunes.  Everytime I try I get this error msg: "the component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

Then I click OK and get this msg: could not find the path C:\users\my name\appdata\local\apple\apple software update\itunes6464.msi.

I need to sync my new iPad pro and because used to synchronize requires the latest update, I have my laptop but I never have syncd my ipad with this computer and if I try to backup if I agree to erase everything on my device and sync with the laptop.  Of course, I don't want to do what I want to see everything on the NEW ipad from the old version.

I went through the troubleshooting and found a solution, but when I had finished making all this trouble report said, there was a pesky itunes shortcut file on the left and I can not delete this shortcut, regardless of how many times I try.  If I can't remove it, the Installation will be terminated.  How can I delete this file?

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates. Start by Missing MSI errors .

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

  • I have 1 2010 Macbook and I could not install the new OS. I'm on 10.6.8. and get an error message saying that it will not install on this computer. Thank you

I wonder if my Macbook must be sent to the trash since I can no longer get updates to the OS. I have 10.6.8. When I try it tells me that they will not be installed on this computer. It works fine but I do not receive security and other software updates any more. What can I do?

The computer has a value for someone who does not have a new OS X and does not use

the last iDevices; Thus the old app from iTunes and stuff would be a good deal, as it is.

Without more information on the model number and build year, propose any later version

OS X update (because there may be one or two; if nothing shows up on the Mac App Store)

However, without more information, such as the about this Mac can show you the

If the computer that you have is a MacBook 13-inch Mid-2010, he could run the new OS X

However, if the old hard drive is full, saved from the old stuff, you want to get an external

Those things would give the MacBook OSX current or most recent advantage.

Try to download and install manually by download on your desktop and install them one by one. Insert the number of KB to get updates on the right and choose the one corresponding to your version of Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  Disable your security software.  Then try the updates again. Once this is done (if it worked) don't forget to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. • How to upgrade KB911895 than my automatic update continues to send me. I get a code error 0 x 80070643

The automatic update sent two updates to do.  I tried several times and it comes up saying: filter (KB911895) did not pass tests Windows Logo to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.   So I went to Update.microsoft.com; Fix for the technical problems of Microsoft Update; and on a site that Microsoft told me to go, to get the last system update.  And a little more.  I don't care if it's updated, but I want that he stop sending me the update, where I have this yellow shield in the bottom right of my screen.  I don't know that always be there, if there is an update I have to do and every time I click on it to see... these two updates with the same titles developed.  Don't know what else to do.

I had my PC cleaned and passed by the technicians to Office Max and was also something they called "Push" is added in order to make my computer faster.  I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but it's the only different thing that was done to my computer in 2 or 3 years.
