I don't want to take a book address each time I send or forward. How default to all my addresses?

Thanks for the idea of F9 return addresses. Such an easy solution. Now, I need to know how to avoid the step of picking an address book every time. Assume that there is a defect or something. Seems maybe lazy, but it's a pain in the neck.

Thanks for your help.

I like the list. If you do not, you can do it come or go with the F9 key. (I know only through a Mozilla support guy).

I hope that what you say about them fixing my problem is true.

Follow-up: I've just updated to Windows 10 (like) and sent an email. He did hold the book that I chose. So much better. Thank you...

I have an iMac and I just want to buy Photoshop. I don't want to pay every month. Is this possible and if yes, how much it costs?

So, you can buy Photoshop CS6 for $699. Then you never admit it. And it's is more updated to ALL except the Camera Raw updates and those will probably stop at some point.

Creative cloud for photographers, $9.99 / month.  For that same $699 you can have the version the most up-to-date of Photoshop AND Lightroom (if you are not using Lightroom then who cares) for 69 months. It is more than 5 years.

9.99 $ per month, you will always have the version the most up-to-date of Photoshop. For what you would pay for a version that is 3 versions back and is no longer updated, you can always have the latest version for the next five years. No upgrade ever.

    Logic for me.

I have a 2 page PDF, but I want to split pages and save each in a single document. How to do that without having to print and scan?

Cannot be done with the player; you will need Acrobat for that.

If you do not have Acrobat, and it is a unique work, you can use the 30 day trial of Acrobat Pro DC: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us/free-trial-download.html

  • I don't want huge shortcut icons at the bottom of the home page. How to I get rid of them?

I think the homepage has changed and the toolbar with icons very big & boring inside interferes with my email, sign in. I now have to go through multiple screens to log my gmail & I think it's because there is not enough room for the complete log in box. I have to enter my password on a second page instead of a single click, as I once did. I followed several accounts of e-mail throughout the day and it drives me crazy. I don't want this toolbar or anything either. I looked through all the settings and the FAQ. Anything concerned with that. Please tell me I can get rid of them & come back to how it was.
    Thanks for the help.

I think the built-in Firefox homepage has had this design for a couple of years now.

Maybe you had applied a rule of custom style to change the page, and he's lost? One way that could happen is if you use Refresh. Firefox sometimes displays a message that it's a bad performance and you can speed it up by restoring some default settings. Additional modules to change the homepage or rules in userContent.css or userChrome.css file would have been removed in this process. (They can always be recovered a record of old data of Firefox on your desktop.)

  • On many Web pages, an answer is popping up while I finish a field. I don't want Firefox, remembering what I type after I leave a page. How can I stop it?

For example: I was fill out a form on a Web site, I had never been to before, who asked for my e-mail address. After I had typed a few characters, a floating box appeared just below the form field, containing one of my e-addresses (similar to but not the one I was before). I don't want Firefox to keep sufficient knowledge to allow other people to pretend to be me (even on my home computer).

    Follow these steps:

    1. Open the Firefox options
    2. Click on the Privacy tab
    3. Change the settings of the history to use the personalization...
    4. Uncheck the option Search recall and form data
  • I don't want Firefox to the files I saved in Web sites "remember" front How can I return Firefox to its old image saving habits?

I recently got a new computer and upgraded to Firefox 8. Now, when I save an image from a website, Firefox will 'remember' and, next time I save an image, open a case at random that I saved an image in the last time I was on this site, then choose Save there. This would not be a problem if, 1) was not a folder randomly on the many I save in and (2) if I have to cancel on a picture for some reason, the next time I will save (seconds later, without leave/refresh a page), it chooses one at random to save me in and I put my files.

I would like to get Firefox back to the previous image, saving habits, where I have to choose the folder every time, and he won't 'remember' everything that I did, as it is originally only headaches.

The current versions of Firefox don't forget not the directory download, based on the URL, so if the URL changes then the default folder can be selected if he has not selected a folder for this server before download.

  • My new addition of Firefox does not have an address bar. How to install this. I don't want to use a search engine every time that I know the address.

I would also have my old favorite tool and have not lined up on the side of the opening page.

First of all, make sure that you are not in mode "full screen". The F11 function key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

Then, you can enable/disable the various toolbars using the Classic View menu. If you use the Firefox orange (abbreviated menus) button, press the ALT key, or press the F10 key to display the classic menu bar.

If you are already showing the "Navigation toolbar", but the part of the address box is missing, you can reset your toolbars to their default values. Here's how:

    (1) the folder settings personal (AKA Firefox profile)

Help (or Alt + h) > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

    (2) switch back to Firefox and quit the program (for example, file > exit)

    (3) wait a few moments for Firefox complete update of the files in the settings folder, then rename localstore.rdf to something else, like localstore - bad.rdf or localstore.old. Alternatively, you can delete the file.

    (4) you are finished with your profile folder and you can restart Firefox now.

    A little luck?

  • Font book opens each time I have download any file

    A strange, I know.

I am running 10.11.3 El Capitan.  Whenever I download a file from the internet (any file as a PDF) in any browser, book loads fonts and a system "field of fonts 'Computer' can not be changed" error message

I have download some fonts for a project (.ttf), and some had errors (and have been disabled). I have since deleted completely these fonts, leaving only the default system fonts.

This error does not occur on connect my wife.

I can't find any similar problem I have internet from trawling.

In advance, thank you for your help

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • LaserJet P2015d: Laserjet don't feed paper unless I opened before each time

Hi all, I recently have a problem with my Laserjet P2015d how can I get to print each page of a document, I need to open the hood before (like matching the ink cartridge) and then close it to print the next page. If I do not open the lid before you start printing, it light-error with a flashing orange alert indicator. It does not send the error codes to the computer but then I don't really see what it is. But from what I hear, it tries to feed the paper from the cassette, but fails, unless I opened on the front, then close it and for some reason it work just for a single page. When he tries to move to the next, he fails again. How could solve this, or is it a bust? Thank you

When the bin is full the indicator says it's because the metal tray is all the way at the bottom of thie plastic frame, i.e. where he sat when he was full of paper and the drawer is closed.

When you first put all paper in and looking at the indicator is shows a full tray until you close the drawer, then when the paper raises it shows the actual level.

So at this point, that looks like you close the drawer, then paper comes up, if there is not a lot of paper in the tray it will feed a sheet but the mechanism which is to follow the set allows to fall and you get no paper feed more.

So, you could have actually just a defective Board.  If you can find another P2015 to borrow a tray, can you could test.
