I got the message to update my browser, I went on the site and download the latest version of Firefox. I update my plug-ins as well. However, I always get the message that my browser is obsolete. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, without success. Please help me. When I go to help and select about Firefox, I have that I use the latest version: 6.0.2.
Check general.useragent preferences on the topic: config page.
You can open the topic: config page through the address bar just like you open a Web site.
Filter: general.useragent
If all general.useragent prefs are "BOLD" (user set) then right-click this pref and select reset.
It would be probably due the FBSMTWB on the end of your useragent that you had added the Fast Browser Search toolbar extension.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 all updates applied.
Today, I got a notice from HP Support Assistant, that there was an update of firmware for my all-in-one HP Deskjet 3520 printer. I went to download and install the firmware that first downloaded and installed the HP download and install the wizard. Does OK no problem yet.
The HP download and install the wizard then downloaded the firmware update and installed on my printer. The installed firmware version has been STP1FN1351AR. I know it's done installation for my printer has printed a page of the printer hardware information and now returned to sleep. However the HP download and install Assisitant still works. He says that's it 100% but he also says to install next to the progress bar. There is another open window called "HP Device Update" which has a progress bar that keeps to be full and then starts all over again, he seems to be in an endless loop.
I'll close these two windows but he thinks someone from HP should know what is happening with their program to download and install the wizard.
I am including a screenshot of the two windows so you can see what I see.

Whenever I try to download and install the latest versions to iCloud and iTunes I get error messages. Just like the download ends, I get an error message and the Apple installer stops the download. Then it shows that the new versions are available for download just aif I had never tried to do it in the first place.

I would like to know how to download and install a trial version of the stand-alone version of Lightroom, without the use of the cloud.
For some reason, since I work for most of my time in the areas where it is very difficult if not impossible to have access to the internet, I would like to have a standalone version of Lightroom to work on a photo library on my Mac HARD drive.
The only option that I find on the Adobe site, try first to install CC.
I'll be grateful for any help.

Run the first CC cleaning tool to remove Adobe Creative cloud completely from your machine.
Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6
Once it is completely removed, you can download the installer from the help below document:

I just downloaded and installed the Lightroom update version (5.7). When I now try to open the program I get an error message stating "the application could not start properly (0xc00007b). It happened the last time I upgraded and sent me a few files that has corrected the problem. Can help you. With our thanks. John

Cannot download and install the latest version of Flash...
I tried several times to download and install the latest version of Flash player. He said that it is downloaded, me shows that it is installing, then, when I click on "Finish", it takes me to a site that says "step 3 of 3", but is otherwise empty.» I still see an error message on Web sites that require Flash; the error message tells me that Flash is obsolete. Don't know how this is possible, since I just (supposedly) downloaded and installed the latest version from the website. I scoured through all the troubleshooting steps on the Adobe site, without success. It is quite frustrating. What can I do else?

I downloaded oplayer flash at least 20 times. It shows that it is installed. but I get a message to the last version, I even downloaded this many times, but I still have problems

You could try the following:
Control Panel > display icon > programs and features >
Scroll down, find and uninstall HP Support hasWizard.
Restart your computer after uninstalling the existing version of the Support Assistant.
Download and install the latest version of the HPSA:
Restart / reboot the computer and log in

If the problem persists, you can try:
- Open HPSA > click "updates and optimizations" (wording may slightly differ) >
- Select them Updates settings and messages >
Under ' how would you like to receive updated software and messages from HP?
- Select in the menu dropdown:
Search for updates, but let me choose whether to download and install them
Always in the updates and optimizations >
- Check / initiate a list of available updates >
- If the offending hotfix package is still listed, then click on it (maybe right-click?) and a value of 'Ignore' or 'hide' this package
> Once 'Hidden', the package should not display longer towards the top of the list of available updates.

In particular, it is the opinion of this Expert that you ban HPSA to download and install a BIOS update on your computer. You should always, in the opinion of this Expert, look for the updates to the BIOS on the website of your computer and only download and install a BIOS update when the update is directly applicable to your situation or if you are having problems with your computer.

Well you go back to the apple website and download/install the 64 bit version and not the 32-bit version (run first the DiskCleanup)

I downloaded and installed the camera Raw 8.8 and ORF files that will always open in Lightroom 5.7. The files were made using the new Olympus E - M5 II, who is on the list of supported devices. When I run Lightroom and check the on the screen, it says it's Lightroom version 5.7, but Camera Raw 8.7 despite my having upgraded to 8.8. I use a MacBook Pro with OS 10.7.5 Please advise on how to import and use ORF files in Lightroom.

Yes, this camera is supported by Camera Raw 8.8.

However, the required 'Version of Lightroom Minimum' column is empty. Lightroom does not yet support it.
Like the so-called Warunicorn, Lightroom does not use the Camera Raw using Photoshop plugin. It uses its own Raw conversion engine so you have to wait for an update of Lightroom separate for this camera edit Raw files in Lightroom. Or use the DNG Converter and work with the DNG in Lightroom.

Be sure to restart the MAc and Champagne for any change.
If this help not try to reset the system pritning and then add the printer:
* Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.
Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
Select Print & Scan.
Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user name and password.
Click OK. The printing system resets.Now, click on the sign more and try to add the printer again.
IF none of the steps above tdoes not solve the problem download and install the package below:

Once installation is complete, open the system preferences > print & Scan and add the printer again.
Thus also ensure the printer directly connected to the Mac, not by the bias of the USB or extention and a USB hub is not longer than 2 - 3 m long.
