I forgot my password for Windows Vista, and it is the only Admin and did not have a password recovery disk. What should I do to recover my password?
I forgootten my password for my laptop for the administrator and therefore cannot download, update or do a lot on the laptop.

I used my recovery discs and some sort of error came. so, it has not fixed the computer. so I think that some how drivers were not loaded. However what seems to be a driver came when I press my f12 button to use the system recovery options menu. but I insisted on using it, and another box came to tell the software installation media or something to use to load the drivers. I also tried to use the Startup Repair tool restore and system by surprise that I have on an external drive listed under windows backup care but nothing has worked. I don't know anything else to do.

My question says it all. I click on the new tab button and nothing opens. By clicking on the links will open a new tab, if necessary, or using "Open in new tab" seems to work very well.
Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.
There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Did you pay for Office (including Excel) in a packaging separated when you bought your computer?
Office is not included with your purchase of computer for free.
Most new computers come with a trial version of Office that lets 'x' number of days usuage.
After this test times out, you will have to buy Office.
And the product key on the computer case or laptop for the operating system, not for the desktop Suite.

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the mouse and keyboard > check if installation of update takes place more quickly

While my dose turns off the message, you will NO longer receive updates of Google Chrome.
Given that Microsoft will support Vista at least a year, I don't understand Google dropping support early reasoning.
