  I found this and tried to work through it, but it doesn't seem to help.

  (1) Ther' are no Firefox.exe in my task manager, nor is there a process plugin-container.

  (2) I deleted the file "parent.lock" in both the profile (which is just a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers with 'default' in it) and the record of the old Firefox. However, these files were just "parent.lock" not "parent.lock.parentlock".

  -Restart Windows problems, it is just a fluke
  -Ran memory many comparative tests in order to check the hardware. 0% errors of memory.
  -Having applications and latest drivers (i.e. Flash) always updated to the latest stable version
  -File deleted parent.lock
  -Make sure that the profile folder (and subfolders) are not read-only
  N ' I 4 extensions and always the latest versions (AdBlock Edge, DownThemAll, Garmin Comm., Pocket)
  -Completely uninstalled Firefox w / profile deleted and clean installed different versions of 29.0b1 post and problem returns after many sessions.
