I get a message pop up every time I start the Explorer about the AOL toolbar

I don't know if this link posted, but I stuck again here:

http://ImageShack.us/photo/my-images/641/screenhunter01nov082256.gif/

This is a screenshot of a message that I always get when I start Explorer. This message appears twice, but the screen comes up and once again (same message) when the window opens, but before my home page is displayed. My home page is supposed to be Bing.com, but I think that the Explorer wants to take me to AOL.com. (I think that this version of the browser has been optimized for AOL).

I want to get rid of this message. I uninstalled AOL Toolbar, but that has not worked. So, how can I get rid of this message?

Contact AOL support and ask them how to remove their browser.

    Hi denita_468,

You did it changes on your computer before this problem?

In order to diagnose the problem, you can check the updates failed to install in the Windows Update site:

    a. click Start, click all programsand then click Windows Update.

    b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.

  • I get conflicting messages on SlipStream, each time I start Firefox 3.6.10

I'm new to Firefox. After a few days, I started a list of Add-ons, including a message that SlipStream SP Integrator 6.0.30 is not compatible with version 3.3.10. I guess that's true, then I click on the "Uninstall" button and uninstall is confirmed after I tell FF to restart. However, a second window thanks then me for the SlipStream installation and installation will be completed when I close the window. There is no other alternative, so I guess that SS is reinstalled without delay. How to exit this loop?
I can provide screenshots, if I knew how.

This can happen if one of the files which stores details of extensions you installed is corrupted. Try to delete the files as described in the section files corrupt article Impossible to install add-ons .

  • 2013 iMac OSX10.9.1 and Photoshop CC, crashes every time you start the CC PS.

I have an iMac of 2013 with a 3 TB drive, 16 GB merger and RAM and spin 10.9.1.  I just bought the special photography Lightroom and Photoshop.  After you install both applications whenever I open Photoshop, I get the splash screen, the window of the program and a few seconds later, the beach ball starts and never goes away.  While it does nothing works in PS, menus, icons, etc.

Lightroom and Bridge very well seem to work? I even installed the latest version of Java as suggested elsewhere in the forums?  Still do not understand this.  Uninstalled and reinstalled several times with accurate results?

Then why did you say "crash"?  Crashes and deadlocks are very, very different behaviors.

And it seems you're hooked to a panel of Flash or any script UI, and it is suspended waiting for LogiCameraLock (LogiWiFiCamera)...

You will need to remove or update the driver for the camera.

  • FF8.01 how can I avoid checking the add-on which appears every time I start the program?

In Firefox 8.01, whenever I start Firefox, a box appears indicating that the program checks to see if my addons are compatible. There are currently 3 who are not, and this box simply delays the start of the program to tell me the same thing whenever I start Firefox. Most annoying. Is there any way I can prevent the display of this box, or reduce it to once a week or once a month?

Can you check this number 9 of Firefox?

  • 6 Android: Skype asks for more permissions every time you start the application

With the new 'permission management' in Android 6 Skype continues to ask the same permissions that whenever the application is open. Perhaps, it is not a desired behavior.

As far as I know, applications are supposed to to request permissions only once after installation, unless authorisation is associated with some user action.

Currently, Skype is always ask for 'access to contacts' and 'manage phone calls. "

The problem has been resolved by an update recently.

    Thanks for fixing it!

Then I updated my BIOS to version 2.4e, 01-dec-08 Phoenix (the SMBIOS version remained the same before 2.4), but the issue is not resolved. I have attached a screenshot for processor and BIOS versions.

Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't see the screenshot of your post attachments. Please repost them.

This error message means that WHAT BIOS is damaged. You will need to have the BIOS flashed in a mobile shop, repair a BIOS or an HP Service Center. Do a search online with Google or Bing repair for a BIOS.  If you keep trying to update the BIOS there will come a time where everything you have a black screen.

I can't open Firefox. Home page comes up, I get just the reporter Crash asking me to restart/quit but every time I do the same message always comes back. I was not able to use Firefox for days now.

In recent days, we have a lot of crashes with Trusteer report. If you have this program, try to disable it and see if that stops the noise.

You can stop the report by using the Start Menu > programs > Trusteer report > report stop

You can ask their helpdesk when a version update of their products will be available or, if you do not need this software, uninstall.

    http://www.Trusteer.com/support/en/report-problem

If you do not report, so we have a crash report ID. When you send a report of the Mozilla crash puts it right in a gigantic database. We have no way to seek without the ID of the report. I don't know what the problem is without searching the crash report. Please get the ID of your last report of the accident report.
