I get a pop-up telling me to update my operating system. How can I disable this pop-up window?
There is an annoying pop-up that loads whenever I start Firefox. He tells me to update my operating system, as it does not support the latest version of Firefox. But it is the most advanced version of the operating system my system will dial with, so it's not an option.

Windows XP instead of Vista.
I would like to install Windows XP on my computer and get rid of the Vista operating system. Can I do this? I only have 512 MB of Ram and 32-bit processor.Hello
There are a few things that you would have to do to install XP instead of Vista:
1. contact the manufacturer of your computer and see if the XP drivers are available for your computer model to make sure that XP has worked properly in this regard.
2. If the XP Drivers are available, buy a XP disk operating system / license. Try local computer repair shops because Microsoft sells more than XP and online sale buy you pirated copies can cause. Be very careful.
3 XP runs with 512 MB of RAM, although a little slow by today's standards.
4. do a clean install of XP. Make sure that all your data is backed up as the hard will be cleaned of everything during the Installation of XP.

A few days ago, I tried to connect to Facebook to play games, chat and so on. After filling in the username and password, I get a message telling me it looks like I have malware on my computer and I need to download certain types of anti-malware program to clean my computer. This only happens when using Firefox. How can I get rid of this? I tried to remove and reinstall Firefox. I ran two major anti-malware programs that work on my laptop. If it is a legitimate program from Fb, I would like the option to refuse. I did not have the choice. I can connect to Fb on Google Chrome without problems, and so I have to conclude that this is a problem with Firefox. Any ideas? I tried to contact Fb, but so far there has been no response.
If you get a pop-up message asking to put plugins or Firefox updated or anti-malware analysis then this message probably is a scam and you should never respond to such reporting to avoid being infected by malware.
- Don't update Firefox via "> about" or by downloading and installing Firefox from Mozilla and server never using a popup or a link on a web page.
- Plugins should be updated only through the plugin itself, or by visiting the home page of the plugin.
Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

How can I do so?
Hello tock172,
The only way I found to stop this popup is to disable the quick launch the utility Configuration of Microsoft HP VolumeDisplay, but it will also turn off the sound by clicking (I think)...
Click Start > type "MSCONFIG" in Start Search > click MSCONFIG in the list of programs
Then click on the Startup tab and then uncheck the item for HPVOLUMEDISPLAY (forgot the exact name) and then click APPLY and then CLOSE and restart

The pop-up says: "this page requires a secure connection which includes server authentication. The issuer of the certificate for this site is unknown or untrusted. Do you want to continue? "And the choices are Yes, no, display the certificate and more information.
It cripples my ability to use the computer, because trying to track clicks is like playing a video game. And where did it come from? Why is it only began to happen this morning? Any help is very appreciated.
(I had to click on the thing 12 times while writing this message!)

I get SPAM in my email that I don't want. How can I stop this?
original title: the unwanted e-mailsI keep getting emails where the only text is an address websight I guess they want to click me on and visit. How to put a stop to this?
In addition to Brian comments, a lot of these messages is not actually that is sent to you, so you can set up a filter that if messages are to you, then stop processing the message rules and then set up a message rule later to move all messages to a junk folder. This way only messages actually to wrap you in the box of reception, and you can no longer display on the undesirable and delete everything that you want.

This happens on each image on a page. Why anyone in their right mind would want to tweet, google, gmail and facebook every single picture on all the web pages they visit throughout any day given? The tile that just obscures the information I actually want to read. That's why I'm on the web page first place and did not tell him all on a site that is now rendered unreadable by some thoughtless and commonplace programming room. If it cannot be turned off I will be dumping Firefox.
My best guess is that there is an addition on / toolbar which is annoying. You can try to find the add on / toolbar and disable or you could also reset Firefox by clicking 'Help' > 'of troubleshooting information"and click on"Reset Firefox"near the top right. Do not hesitate to ask if it does not help.
