I get repeated requests to enter the network password

I get repeated requests popping up asking me to enter my network password. I tried to turn off my scanner antivirus e-mail that I had been informed, this could be the source of the problem, but it is still happenning. Help!

Hello

If you are referring to the logon wireless password, try this.

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

If all the foregoing is OK and it does not connect to the wireless router. Journal from any computer that is or may be connected to the wireless router with a wire, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless streaming is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security .

If it doesn't work without security.

Swirch on security on the router and redo a new password.

Then look at the management of the computer wireless and remove all entries here.

Control Panel, network and sharing Center. Upper-left click Manage wireless networks.

http://www.ezlan.NET/Vista/wireless_manager.jpg

After cleaning, connect from taskbar tray wireless icon.

Given that your wireless network is more in the preferred list, it will prompt for the password. Put the password that is current, and if all goes well it will connect.

Help. I have Win7 Professional on a computer that has a shared folder on the network. I'm trying to "Connect to a network drive," with computers running Windows XP, Vista and 7, (professional and commercial versions) as well as OSX. I used to use the folder shared on a computer with XP and had no problems mapping. On all my computers that want to connect to the shared folder, I get "Enter Network Password" I want to be able to use the connection without entering my credentials. Someone knows how to fix this? I tried to use Google to find the answer, and this is my last option. Hello

I'm trying to access my account hotmail (not that I use to ask this question). Until recently, I was able to connect without a problem. Now, when I try to connect, I get a message saying that I entered the wrong password.

I then try to reset my password. I gives me 3 options: -.

Send me a link to reset - with this option, the displayed e-mail address is similar to my other address, but not the right. Whatever it is, I don't get a link for reset.

Use my trusted PC - I have tried this on 2 computers I use most often. Neither work

Customer service - I've tried this 3 days ago. I entered all the information I have, but have not heard anything yet return.

When turning on pc and when the acer logo appears it asks to enter the current password, I bought the recovery disk but do not get a chach to enter the bios

This looks like a utility Acer protect disk hard & possibly also the BIOS.  You will need to consult your manual for Acer.  You have configured a password of HDD that you are now trying to recover, by chance?  This recovery is not possible if the hard drive has been password protected.

If it was a Windows login screen then it would show your user/admin name and password entry area & would be clearly identified as a Windows form of the version of Windows being displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  • The network password must be 40 bits or 104 bits according to your network configuration.

I had a hard time to connect one of my netbooks on the internet yesterday from this thread

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/XPInstall/thread/4c2688b6-247C-467a-89dd-a0c164ec4b89/

on the way to reconnect to the internet. When I followed the steps suggested that PML, I get the message

"The network password must be 40 bits or 104 bits according to your network configuration. This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters. »

The only thing that's happened before, it was that the battery is dead and went into hibernation. I was wondering if someone could help me with what to do to fix this problem.

Edit: this is an acer netbook that I'm trying to connect with.

Edit 2: I found a solution for him in comparison to a second netbook we have. It was the type of connection, he was trying to do and unrelated to the problem that I had.

    Hello

To make sure wireless encryption needs.

There are a few types of wireless networks, and the response of PML due to a problem of the OP has the wrong configuration wireless for the network it is on.

The wrong configuration mentioned in the thread is company 802.1 x, when it is off there is always a need of regular password to connect to a regular safe home wireless network. Which is probably what your wireless network comes with.

I don't know what you're trying to connect to (or what you're doing), but apparently the connection you are looking at is safe and you must know the password.

If not, tell us the story in details, so we can try to give you an answer rather guess.
