  • get the message "setup.exe has stopped working" when trying to install labview 2011 or 2012 on a windows machine 7

When you try to install labview 2011 or 2012 on a windows machine 7, I get a message "setup.exe has stopped working". I tried to run setup.exe as an administrator with the same results. I have Microsoft .NET Framework installed on the affected machine 4.5.1. Could be the cause of this problem? Or does anyone know the root cause of this error?

Hi - are you getting it at the beginning of installation, during or after 100% progression ended?

Is it fair to LabVIEW you install, or is it drivers too, in this case, what was the last big package that has been installed at the time?

This can be caused by the NVIDIA chipset driver:

  • By updating the Garmin GPS, I get the error "Bootstrapper.exe has stopped working".

    Bootstrapper.exe has stopped working!

Hello!  I try to update my Garmin GPS and have saved the program on my desktop.  When I open it, the program retrieves and then I get the message: "Bootstrapper.exe has stopped working".

I searched the internet and forums of Microsoft for answers, but I don't know why this is happening.  I followed an instruction in the forum by changing the setting of the DEP to just windows and programs and do not apply to ALL.  I restarted my computer and I tried to rerun the Garmin update.  I got the message again.  Y at - it somewhere on Microsoft where you can download just the ' Bootstrapper.exe by itself?

All the updates of Windows and Microsoft are up to date.  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, 32 bit, pack svc 1 & 2.  Could someone help me please?  I'm pretty knowledgeable with computers, but it frustrated me no end.

    Thanking you in advance,

    2. the program is already running while update you?
    3. where did you download this update?

    Method 1.
I ask you to re - download the update and then try to install it. Its possible this bootstrapper is damaged. If the problem persists, then put the computer in a clean boot state, and then try to update.

  • Whenever I try to update, I get the message "windows Explorer has stopped working". It then seeks a solution, restarts, and immediately stops again. No error code just a constant circle. This has happened for days. I am running windows 7.

Whenever I try to update, I get the message "windows Explorer has stopped working".  It then seeks a solution, restarts, and immediately stops again. No error, just a constant circle of shutdown and startup code.  This has happened for days.  I am running windows 7.

I think that norton or mcafee may have been preinstalled as trial versions, but I've never actually used them. Unfortunately I can't use the windows Explorer, so I can't check if they are still there.

We will cover all the possibilities.

    1. download each of the tools for deletion below, save it to your desktop:

    Norton Removal Tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

    McAfee removal tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all software (including LiveUpdate and Add-ons of Norton) Norton through Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view)

IMPORTANT! => Activate the Windows Firewall immediately after the restart.

IMPORTANT! => Now you're "working without a net": no to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation, reading e-mail, chat) until you have completed the steps #4, #5 and #6 below!

    4. right click on one of the files that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    5. Repeat step #4 for another removal tool.

    Tips:

-Online use another computer to download the removal tool, if necessary, then transfer it to the computer via CD, DVD, or a USB brand new, never been used (flash drive), or a summer freshly updated in shape.

-Online start the problem in Mode safe computer, if necessary, proceed as above.

-Online after completing all of the above, uninstall AVG Free & reboot. Now do a new installation of AVG Free 9.0, this time select the CUSTOM installation option and do NOT install (uncheck) Linkscanner Search-Shield, Active Surf-Shield, security or the email of crawl components toolbar.

    Hi Andy,.

I checked the reported compatibility list, and the game is listed as compatible.  Work in 64-bit or 32-bit Windows 7?  I will try to reinstall the game, if you did an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 recently.  If it is a new installation and does not, please visit the EA's Web site to get the latest patch for the game to see if that helps address your problem.  Let me know if you've done all that and you still have questions, and we can try something else.

    Hello

I recommend you perform the clean boot and check the issue.

Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    Hello

1 did you change on your computer before this problem?

    2. when exactly you receive error message?

You can follow the methods and see if it helps.

    Method 1
Use the PING command to verify that TCP/IP is working properly. To do this, ping the loopback address (127.0.0.1) by typing the following command at a command prompt:
    (a) click Start .
    (b) in the search box type command prompt.
    (c) right-click and select run as administrator of .
    (d) type ping 127.0.0.1 and ENTRY.
If you receive the response of 127.0.0.1, it means that TCP/IP is configured correctly.

    Method 2
Check to see if the problem exists in safe mode with network.

Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 3:

Alternatively, you can try to reset TCP/IP and then check if it helps:

    Method 4:

I also suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft Scanner on your computer and check to see if it helps:

  • Error message AIOC exe has stopped working when I try to scan on Dell AIO 924 printer

I recently bought a Dell studio with Vista (old computer ran XP) desktop computer.  I installed my printer and have been able to do print, but not to digitize from all in one centre, get the above error message

    bredenbm,

We will try to reinstall the printer using the instructions below. This will install the Dell all-in-one Center.

First of all, make sure that your computer has all the updates of Windows. I've customized those too, especially the .net framework(required to run many applications). Also make sure you have the latest Java. Since you don't mention how the printer is connected, here the basic instructions for this printer.

Unplug your printer. Download and run this patch to completely remove the printer from your computer. When the correction is over, it will prompt you to restart your computer. There seems to be a lenghty process so please be patient.

    Restart your computer.

    Download the correct drivers.

    XP drivers

    Vista 32-bit drivers

    Vista 64-bit drivers.

    All other drivers

Install the appropriate drivers. (Install ONLY the drivers you need) You will be asked when connect you your printer (power on)

In the digitization to the analysis, if you have the disc that came with the printer, and then insert the floppy disk to the printer and stop running. Go to my computer and double-click it. Locate the drive that contains the disk Dell inside. Right-click on it, left click Explore. Find the folder of the OCR. In the OCR folder, there is a folder of Abbyy. Right click on setup.exe, which is located in the folder Abbyy and left, click Run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.

    Scanning

Scan using the USB connection, open the Dell all-in-one Center, click on the scan and copy and scan from there.

Scan wireless, use the buttons to scan on the printer.
