I get the "Missing PDFMaker files" error message when you try to convert a microsoft word (.docx) document in PDF format

When I click with the right button on the word file and select Convert to Adobe PDF, I get the missing "Files PDFMaker" error message

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2, 32-bit operating system.

I'm using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010

I have installed Adobe Reader X

Thank you

Thanks Pat, this solved the mystery.

For someone else who has the same problem as me unfortunately its not good news. To use the help link in the post previous I understand now, is that my system is not compatible.

When I bought my laptop it came with acrobat 8, at a later stage, I changed the OS to be MS Office Home and Student 2010. This must have been the point that the PDF Maker has stopped working although I discovered this now.

According to the link above help Word 2010 is no longer compatible with Acrobat X and later. If the create a PDF to a word document function will never work now. Emptied!
