  You should just try it with a few different settings jpeg quality and open the JPEG or PDF files to see if they are of acceptable quality. If the problem appears on your screen, they are not there. Both formats use jpeg compression, but the parameter of quality should be good enough to not give visible problems. At least that's my experience. You should have your quality setting for jpeg above 75 or more, but above are usually not necessary. 300PPI is usually sufficient for printing the files. sRGB is usually the color space suitable for use except when you know that your printer knows what he is doing is about color management.
