I had to update my windows computer and you can no longer open Photoshop cs2.  trying to find help with this new system is not easy to use to put it kindly.  I downloaded the program and don't have the available key.  I tried to sign in but where.

  Try to run Photoshop, hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard and click Yes to ignore the optional plugins loading. If that helps connect some third parties could be the cause of problem. If this is not the case, go to the second suggestion.

  You do not reformat first before installing Windows. You
  Just do a clean install and do that begins by reformatting
  the disc for you.
   
  Just boot from the Windows CD (if necessary, change the boot order in)
  the BIOS to CD drive first) and follow the prompts for a
  clean install.

  The mac license and the license of windows are 2 different products, mac and windows are 2 different platforms, so you cannot transfer the license between the 2.

  You will need to borrow an installation disc to a former operating system Microsoft - Windows 95, 98 or me. There is no way around it. If person don't you know is an older drive, you can borrow for a few minutes, you will need, you will need to either buy a copy full XP or take the unit to a local computer professional to do the XP installation for you.   10.10 is no longer available unless you had previously downloaded. In this case, it would be in the purchase of the Mac App Store section. Its not available for direct plus download.

  Contact the manufacturer of your laptop as there must be a way to restore the computer. There may be a hidden restore partition.

  I managed to fix it.  I found the Mr. Fix It tool on the Microsoft Web site and who was running, and it worked.  He fixed the corrupted registry file and allowed me to install the player.  I had tried it once before, but it has not been successful.  This time, it worked.
