I hate Windows 7 and I want Windows XP back
Original title: I hate Windows 7.
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
I was happy with XP, I want to. I don't have the choice with this new machine. I can't find anything, cannot use anything and cannot work even printing a set of labels! Ridiculous! I'm a Secretary, for the love of God - why you fix you what wasn't broken?
If you are a Secretary, so it seems that your boss is the one who will decide if you have to use XP or Windows 7. It took me some time to get used to the differences between Windows 7, but now everything is like second nature. It takes time, just stick with it, Windows 7 is far superior to XP.

The story is like this:
I bought a 15.6 LED display, 4th generation i7-4710HQ processor Quad Core, 8 GB memory, 1 TB of HARD drive Windows 8 (no touch) in September 2014, from a third on Amazon seller. I upgraded Windows 8 to 8.1 to the end of November, and everything was great. I was really happy with my laptop, life was wonderful.
Until this last Tuesday, August 11, when my computer prompted me to upgrade Windows 8.1 (64-bit version) to Windows 10. Then everything went to hell. When Windows 10 finished installing, and I wanted to check the new stuff that comes with it, I realized that I had no access to the start menu, I couldn't open the files or folders unless they are found on the desktop (where, fortunately, I had direct access to a folder of files that I needed to work). But oh, it does not stop there. After I restarted several times, to see if it was maybe an update that was waiting to be installed, it has ceased to be able to open files, so now I got a laptop can only be used to store things, but not to modify any information. I tried to do a system restore, I read in the Microsoft forums that it could send back me to my previous OS, but alas, hell, he sent me to Pandemonium itself.
Now, I have a laptop that takes 7 to 10 minutes to start, won't let me open a session and then shows me a black screen of nothingness. What I call a pretty expensive paperweight.
So, here I am with this tragic story, to ask you, how the hell can I fix it, if I can't even access the product key of Windows 8 to try a new installation to go back?

I updated level of windows 7 starter edition to professional but I want to go back to the starter. How do I go about it. I also want to know how can I get my product number and the activation number.
New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands
For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device
For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device
For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward
For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo
For Samsung: Press the F4 key to the Samsung logo when you turn first.
For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.
Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

I am running vista and you want to go back to Windows XP. How to switch back?
I bought a new hard drive. I installed vista. Which turns out to be is not very compatible with the rest of my equipment. I would like to go back to windows XP and get rid of vista completely. How do I do that?
If you do not have your XP disc:
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send an XP Recovery disk.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
You are doing a new installation of XP, wiping the Vista operating system Partition from the hard disk containing Vista in the process.
Follow the steps below in the link, to do a clean install; read the part where you remove the existing Vista Partition, create a new Partition, format, etc...
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.
Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

Help. I re taped what was in a file by accident and he want to come back.
How do you re-set your computer history back several days. It is possible under windows but I don't know how to do on vista...?
Hello student,
· What are the changes that you made to the file?
· Are what file you referring?
Unfortunately if you have already saved changes to the file, we will not be able to go back.
There is an option to restore the system that might undo recent changes to the computer but not going to cancel the changes made to the files.
Thank you

I found an iPhone and really want to go back to the original owner
I found an iPhone a few months ago and have tried in vain to return to the original owner, how do I do this? Any suggestions would be helpful.
There is nothing you can do. If the device is online, then the original owner can lost Mode and send a message with details. If they don't do that, then you have no way of knowing who is the owner. Give it to the police.
See you soon,.
