  I am trying to unzip some files and folders and it works fine on my computer with Windows XP. However, when you use Windows Vista I can't because there are folders and files with the same name. After an internet search, it seems that the only suggestion is to extract the files in separate folders which then would allow them to keep the same name. The problem is I want what they in the same folder and they need to have the names they have.

  NOTE: I do have two files with the same name in the same folder, I have a folder and a file with the same name. I would have thought that this would be acceptable because they are two things separate, and given that it's great under XP.

  All solutions?

  You are right, if I make a file and a text file with the same name, it works fine. However, when I try to extract the files I need it tells me that there is already a file with the same name as the folder. He goes to tell me to choose a new name but my only options are 'try again', 'jump' or 'Cancel '.

  I think I can understand what the problem is. For some reason when you download the zip file, the computer seems to have added a few files side with any format other than "file." It is those who have the same name as the folders as if they were, and they could not be uncompressed because of this. I have no idea whence they came as they appear from nowhere (compared to my XP). I'm trying now unzip the files separately and exclude the strange s 'file '.

  Well - I thought I had all this worked and fixed, but I met the download error 'Why do we have several files with the same name' once again.  (I downloaded all the files several times today in order to 1) works the way it worked the last time and 2) get an OAM file that is not loading for some reason any load again and the download takes about an hour to transfer all the files manually.

  To recap:

  (1) an option "Upload only modified files" returns the 'Muse has encountered an error and closes.  Why do we have several files with the same name? "error just as before.

  (2) a full download will work but takes forever and is NOT a substitution for work changed files option.

  Please advise with possible solutions!

  Is it possible to have two .oam different files in different folders on your computer where the .oam files have the same name? I'm theorizing that there may be a bug in the treatment to ensure the folder created for a .oam placed on the server receives a unique name, particularly in the case of a partial update of the site on the server.

  In general, you should have 1 structure of the event in your VI.  In your state machine, the structure of the event should be in "pending" status  So you will probably start in the State of the initialization and then spend idling.  Then, the user presses the present button.  If your state machine should then, go to the current state and then return to Idle.

• I have two folders in the same subdirectory with the same name. How to remove the extra folder?

  I have 2 directories "documents" located in the same directory. They are as well located in C:\Documents and Settings\ [user_name]------directory. Duplicate folder is automatically updated with the same file names when I add files in the original folder. It looks like a pointer to the original folder, when I try to delete the duplicate directory. I get the following error message.

  Can't delete My Documents: it is used by another person or program.
  Close all programs that might be using the file and try again.

  I deleted all files in the directory, rebooted the computer and attempted to delete the now empty folder and I get the same error message. Can you help me remove this duplicate folder.

  In Windows XP, all user folders were located under the C:\Documents and Settings folder.

  In Vista , all user folders are located under the folder C:\Users .

  Vista Documents and Settings folder is not a real file it's a junction folder that points to the Folder C:\Users.

  A junction is as a shortcut that points to another file, that is why these records have a shortcut (arrow) overlay icon. In Vista, the only reason why the Documents and Settings junction is for the old installers who are looking for a Documents and Settings folder. When they try to access the folder Documents and Settings, the junction in silence re - runs Setup to the C:\Users folder.

  The only way that a user can access this file actually is if the access permissions have been changed.

  I recommend that you move all your files and immediately stop using the Documents and Settings folder to avoid more problems.

  If this just started recently, I recommend that you use the system restore back to a point before the documents and settings folder was first access.

  I'm editing a script in this thread for my needs. The script was using the data center as input automatic update of the virtual machines. In our case, all our virtual machines are under a data center and separate in the development and Production of records. I was able to modify the script to use a file as input. However, under the folders roots of dev and prod, we have the same name subfolders. For example:

  Data Center

  Dev

  -& gt; FolderA

  Prod

  -& gt; FolderA

  I have attached the script that I have so far.

  I want to update all the virtual machines in FolderA under Dev without updating while FolderA below Prod. Would it be possible to bring a contribution of dev or prod and then provide a second entrance to a subfolder?

  When you use lightroom on my PC I have download the images on an external hard drive.  When I'm away from home can I use lightroom on my laptop and down load the images on the same external hard drive and treat and have lightroom on PC locate them when I go home.

  Yes.  If you go regularly to several machines, the simplest solution is to put the catalog on the external hard drive file, just open this same catalog on both machines.  The alternative is to use the import of the catalog when you return to your main computer to copy holiday photo settings in your main catalog.

  Looks like you need to enable DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Program).  Follow these steps:

  -Open the computer in the Start Menu

  -Right click on network

  -Click on Properties

  -Click on to view the status of

  -Click on Properties

  -Click continue if she asks

  -Click Internet Protocol IVP4

  -Click on Properties

  -Turn on to obtain automatically IP addresses and DNS automatically get an address

  -Close all open windows.
