I have 44 GB in my icloud, but only 59 MB in my iphone. I want to transfer all my photos to my icloud, but the iphone cannot send it because there is not enough space (this is the message). How can I do to fix this?
I have 1400 photos in my iphone (4, 7 GB) and I want to transfer my icloud. Can someone help me?
To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

I have a couple of server 08 R2 machines where the P to V conversion fails. I did some research and the problem seems to be related to the system reserved Partition that has 0% available 100 MB free space. Conversion fails with the error below.
VSS snapshots cannot be stored because there is not enough space on the source volumes or because the source computer has not all NTFS volumes. Error code:
2147754783 (0x8004231F).Someone had this problem and came to the top with a solution or to get around?
Thanks in advance
Guessed it. My snapshots Appassure did not also exist with a similar error, so that's what I did to solve it. My servers now converted without any problem.
- Open disk management.
- Look at the partition of the PRS and see if it is 100% full.
- If Yes, proceed to step 3.
- If this is not the case, check if there are readers who have no more of 300 MB free (minimum requirement to use VSS).
- Click a drive, select properties and then select the instant snapshots tab.
- Ensure that all shadow copies are disabled and no limit on all players.
- Go to the partition of the SRP and assign the B:drive letter.
- Open the B: drive via disk management, and then locate the folder System Volume Information. Note: if necessary, change the folder options so that you can view hidden files, folders and drives.
- Right-click the System Volume Information folder, and then select Properties.
- On the Security tab, click Edit, and then add the group with full control everyone in the folder.
- Open the System Volume Information folder (you should see log files are full), open a running as an administrator command prompt and then type the following commands to unload the filter driver.
- B:
- B:\>FLTMC UNLOAD AAFSFLT
- Navigate to the System Volume Information folder, and then type the following commands:
- B:\>CD System Volume Information
- B:\System Volume Information > AALOG_ DEL * (this will remove all of the log files, and then re-create a new)
- B:\System Volume Information > CD\
- B:\>FLTMC LOAD AAFSFLT
- Close the command prompt window.
- In Windows, right click on the reserve system folder and remove the Group everyone.
- In Disk Manager, remove the B: drive (and click Yes when prompted with a warning window).

iPod cannot be synced because there is not enough space
I just got a new computer and I tried and tried to sync my ipod touch, product type is: Ipod 3.1. and iOS 5.1.1. on the new computer. I have all the songs from the old computer and their transfer to the new computer, but I get the error message "Ipod cannot be synced because there is not enough space to hold all of the items in the itunes library (like 55.88 GB required). This computer now has a lot of hard drive to contain this music, and my ipod has a capacity of 57,92. Now, if I think right, it's almost an ipod everything! I'm so confused by the present. I have not added a lot more music. Please explain and help me understand what I need to do to get my ipod to sync. I tried to reduce the bit rate only to get the error saying that I need extra GB 38.65. What happens here? Help, please.
Now, if I am not mistaken, the songs that you have in the itunes application, is what gets synchronized, I have additional music in other folders, but I don't have them uploaded to the app. Are they still in the library? Please help me not to be confused on this issue. I greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Steve
You try to synchronize too much media to iPod.
Verify that synchronization of the settings
iTunes: synchronization of multimedia content for iPod and iOS devices
Try the synchronization using the manual method
Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad and iPod
You can synchronize only with a computer. To move computers
Synchronization to a 'New' computer or replacing a hard drive "crashed": Apple Support communities
If all the media synchronized music and apps are already in the iTunes library of the new just backup on iTunes computer and restore from this backup.

cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all the items in iTunes (required additional 194.8 MB) library.
It is not supposed to because I have enough memory on my iPad.
Help, please
ckucharek wrote:

Not based on what? You have not provided any information as to the amount of space you have left and what is the total capacity of your iPad. He must leave a certain percentage of the free capacity at all times, so if you have a 32GB device and you are up to 2 GB of free storage, which could in fact be severed close... If it says you need to 194.8 MG of free space that would be in addition to the amount that you see as free space.
It also depends on what you're trying to sync on iTunes as well. What content, apps, songs, etc.
So... can provide you more details?

Cannot restore backup because there is not enough free space
Try to restore from the latest backup and get an error message that there is not enough free space. How can be greater than the capacity of the backup phone? What the user should do?
How free do to space you have left on the phone?
Have you tried to transfer the contents of the camera to your Mac and remove the pictures after that in the phone, to get more free space?
Because the backup will replace the contents of the camera as well, this should be no problem.
If you want to restore, and then try again.

Have a new laptop. RELOADED iTunes library and allowed the computer. now, it not sync due insufficient free space. Necessary additional GB. It is projection 23 GB free.
The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.
(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)
- Backup device.
- Restoration as a new device.
- Restore the backup that you made earlier.
NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

Time Machine backup fails because "there is not enough space on the «DiskStation «»
My backups regular TimeMachine to DiskStation stopped working a few months ago. I thought it was because I ran out of space but now I installed an extra 1 TB RAID and I always get this error message.
Here is the chronology of events that led to the error message.
16/01/10 23:09 - Backup started manually (1.47 TB TB 2.45 available):
16/01/10 23:11 - preparation of backup... (1.47 TB TB 2.45 available)
16/01/10 23:15 - "backup: zero KB of 63.8 MB, calculating time remaining..." »
16/01/10 23:22-2.1 MB saved 63.8 and the first estimate of the remaining time: 'about 4 hrs.
16/01/10 23:50 - now 2.3 63.8 MB MB, 16 hours left (I'm ready for bed).
16/01/10 23:55-5 minutes later and it backed up 419 MB!
16/01/11 00:55 - an hour later and it is up to 6.72 GB but the gas target increased to 7.39 GB (I went to bed)
16/01/11 06:50 - next day morning and it's up to 23,76 GB and the goal is now to 26.13 GB
16/01/11 18:49 - I go home at night and it failed.
Here is the view viewfinder of the TimeMachine file that I am trying to backup (note, a lot of disk space):
This is the view of the Inspector of it:
System details:
-MacBook Pro 2013 with OS X 10.11.2
-LAN WiFi Pace 2Wire998 router with DiskStation connected by Ethernet, MacBook Pro by WiFi
-Synology DiskStation DS411slim with 4 x 2.5 "hard drives installed.
A device third-party network attached storage (NAS) or a router is unsuitable for use with Time Machine, especially if it's your only backup. I know that's not what you want to hear. I know that Time Machine accepts the device as a backup destination. I know that the manufacturer says the device will work with Time Machine, and I also know that it usually seems to work. Except when you are trying to restore and find that you can't.
Apple has published a specification for network devices that works with Time Machine. No third party provider, AFAIK, does meet this specification. They all use the application of Netatalk incomplete, obsolete Apple Filing Protocol.
Apple does not endorse any device third-party network for use with Time Machine. See this support article.
Network backup, use as destination an Apple Time Capsule or an external storage device connected to another Mac or a 802.11ac AirPort base station. Only 802.11ac base stations support time Machine, not older model.
Otherwise, use Time Machine at all. There are other ways to save, although none of them are nowhere near as effective or as well integrated with OS X. I don't have a specific recommendation.
If you are determined to continue to use the device with Time Machine, your only remedy for any resulting problem is the manufacturer (who will blame Apple, neither you nor anyone else but herself.)

Any ideas? Files is 230 KB or more.

"Your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk.
I am trying to install a partition of Windows 7 with an ISO on a flash drive with Boot Camp Assistant. Everytime I try it however, I get the error "your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk. The flash drive that I use for this is 64 GB, so I doubt that the issue has to do with not enough available space. I have already tried the obvious, like reformat the flash drive and retry the write. Is there something I could hurt or do differently to make it work?

Hello
1. what operating system is installed on the computer?2. you have any third-party backup software installed on the computer?
Start the shadow copy volume service and see if the problem persists.
a: click Start > run
b: type Services.msc in the start search box and click on enter.
c: Are now looking for a shadow copy volumeservice, double-click it to open it.
d: make sure that the Service is started and set to Automatic.
Shadow copy is a technology included in Microsoft Windows that allows taking manual or automatic backup copies or snapshots of data, even if it has a lock on a volume that is specific to a precise moment in time on regular intervals.
There should be more space on the backup destination media to take successfully no matter what data should be backed up from the source backup media.
Hope this information helps.
