ProBook b 6560: driver missing for 'Base system device' x 3
Hi all
I am currently using the second PCIe slot in the laptop (ProBook 6560 b), but it does not recognize everything that connects to it. Any connected device shows as Base system device in Device Manager:
PCI Slot 2 (bus PCI 36, device 0, function 3)
Drivers not installed (Code 28)
Hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & SUBSYS_2393197B & REV_30
PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & SUBSYS_2393197B
PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & CC_0880I tried to find the drivers needed, but to no avail. Could someone tell me please in the right direction?
Thank you!
Best regards

Hello, gentlemen:
I've been looking on this issue and the problem you are experiencing, it is that the driver files do not contain the & Subsys secondary ID for the card reader (2393197B).
This is why the driver is not installed.
I did a search of the forum and another person who had ID.
David has provided the driver and the person never anwered one way or the other.
In any case, I believe that there is a problem with the hardware with the card reader because here is the list of caught IDS supported by versions of the driver that I could find.
It took a while to browse a few files, but there is no drivers in the 4 or so MS # files that I looked through this full support of ID.
It's in the folder Driver2, jmcr_hp file of configuration information. I keep my message below this list of ID.

If it does not, unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.
I think that something has gone wrong in the installation of windows, either with the hardware itself.

Driver missing for basic system devices and the battery for hp Pavilion dv6-2174tx issue
I have a hp dv6-2174tx with no. WT464PA #ACJ and recently installed 8.1 windows 64 bit. I installed various updates Windows update but still can't find the drivers for the following...
Bus PCI 4, device 0, function 3
Bus PCI 4, device 0, function 4
Bus PCI 4, device 0, function 1
and some unknown devices with location:
on PCI Express Root Complex
on Intel PM55 Express Chipset LPC Interface Controller - 3B 03
Also my battery does not load from 49 percent. It will show "plugged in, not charging", if I remove the charger, it will start to unload and when I plugin the charger it will charge you up to 49%.
Help, please...
Hello:
Here is the driver for the base system devices.
I'll take a guess on the unknown device...
If this does not work, I need to display the hardware ID's for devices that need drivers.
To find this info, please follow these steps...
Go to Device Manager, find the other devices category, and then click the device that need pilots.
Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the device window.
Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.
Drop down on it and select the second item in the list (Hardware ID).
After the first string of characters you see in the window.
I don't know what is the problem of battery, so I can't help you with that.

Pavilion dv6645us after you have installed Windows 7 ultimate x 64 no drivers for base system device
After you have installed windows 7 ultimate on my pavilion dv6645us laptop, I can't find drivers for base system device, location: 2 PCI Bus, device 5, function 2. Also for another device of the Base system, location: 2 PCI Bus, device 5, function 3, I can't find the drivers. And I have a unknown device, location: on the system as 'good' to ACPI Microsoft. (I don't know the English translation).
The only thing that does not work on my laptop, I noticed is that I can't write data to my external hard drive (WD essential 1 TB NTFS), I can access the drive and get the data off of it, but when I try to put my computer on the outside driving my laptop goes down (it reacts with difficulty (, all usb devices are disconnected and I have to manually restart the computer by holding down the button for 5 seconds).
Is this a known problem and the most important is there a solution for this?
Thanks in advance.
Hello
Base system device is for sure your player card.
Use your Vista drivers for this problem:
Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader here
If there are problems with the excavation using compability mode. How al information here.
How to solve other problems as unknown device?
Go to control panel-> Device Manager control
Click with the right button of your mouse on each yellow Panel and choose Properties. Then click on background details and paste hardware ID here. This way we will know what it is.
Below, an example of how you do it:
-
Studio XPS 1645 and 64-bit Windows 8 - missing pilots 'Base system device '.
I just bought a XPS1645 without disc and have successfully installed Win8.1. All right, outside of...
1. Device Manager shows two Base who are "trained" - system devices could someone suggest what items can be and what drivers are needed?
2. the volume and the DVD eject buttons don't. (The wireless button certainly.) Suggestions?
Thank you very much.
VEN_1180 is Ricoh and Ricoh in this system is the card reader. The driver that I mentioned:
http://ftp.Dell.com/Chipset/R234107.exe
should these base system device drivers. If the installation does not remove these then manually update the driver for the two devices by pointing to C:\Dell\Drivers see here for more details:
Bluetooth that I believe was optional, so you won't have a bluetooth card. If you are sure that you have one, try typing Fn and F2 a few times to see if you can enable/disable Bluetooth radio and outside, you can leave the Device Manager maximized when doing this to see if there is no change. It needs display in Device Manager before installing the drivers.
If this fails, you may need to go to the BIOS Setup and disable it, then load Windows and turn off then repeat the process, but allowing it. To enter the BIOS F2 Setup press immediately when you feed the machine.
The Bluetooth card is the Dell Wireless 370 and a Broadcom device. Of Broadcom Bluetooth update should install the appropriate drivers for it.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I need drivers for Base system device after installing Win 7.
My laptop used to have Vista on it. I had a big problem with it, so I used fdisk to remove all partitions. I made an installation FULL of Windows 7 and all is great, but when I go into Device Manager, I show an error with the Base system device. I did all the updates through Windows Update, as well as update the driver. Nothing has worked. Can someone help me with this please.
According to Dell, your machine has been tested for the basci feature and should work ok...

Hello:
You need these drivers for devices...
The media JMicron card reader driver allows the card slot multimedia integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system.
FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp60501-61000/sp60769.exe
This package contains the driver that allows the validity fingerprint sensor in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The fingerprint sensor analyzes fingerprints for use with biometric security applications.
FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66501-67000/sp66915.exe
This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard to the notebook models and operating systems. HP 3D DriveGuard receives notifications of the built-in accelerometer and protects the hard drive (HDD) by automatically "the heads of parking" to reduce the risk of damage if the laptop is accidentally moved or deleted.
