I have a Gov/Canada PDF form stuck on my desktop, how to get down?

By mistake, I downloaded a Gov't of Canada PDF form on my desk and is stuck there as an icon. Please tell me how to remove it.

If you can not just do a right-click on the icon and select "remove."

then you can right click on start and select Explorer.

Then, search for and in the "desktop" folder and delete the shortcut in this pdf.

However, remember that if you only delete the shortcut, then the physical pdf file will always be on the disk.   so if you want to delete the pdf file in its entirety, and then open the shortcut and see where is the location of the pdf file.

Finally, if by chance you don't have administrative priviledge to remove the shortcuts and files, then you will either need to log as administrator or start in safe mode to perform the tasks above.
