  Plug in your mp3 player and open Windows Media Player.
  Click in the empty space (next), then select 'Tools' > select 'Options '.
  Select the "Devices" tab (you see yourself mp3 palyer?) If not, click on "Add" > select "portable music players.
  From there, you will receive information about the addition of your device.

• Try burning the cd using WMP10. Does not recognize my burner. Any help is greatly appreciated. Restored from WMP11 because had the same problem with that one too.

  The two burners have been listed.  But when you try to burn, WMP said it couldn't find a burner.  No worries now though.  I uninstalled via the Device Manager and rebooted.  After re-installation, it worked.  No burning problem.  Now when you select burn, am able to see the disks when you click on the arrow to start burning.  One thing that might be worth mentioning is that this time, after the re-start and find new processes of material, I do not installed the drivers from the cd that came with the drive.  For some reason, it works now.  Thanks for all your time and help Jason.  Very much appreciated.

  I recently created my home network again.  It consists of a laptop running windows 7 Professional 64 b, b Office windows 7 Professional 32 running and a netbook under windows xp home.  Two computers running windows 7 recognize each other and share correctly, but the netbook will not recognize the other computers on the network at all.  They can see it, but then say they can't access them when you are trying to access.  They are all on the same workgroup.  Computers that run windows 7 discovered the network, file and printer sharing, and public folder sharing all lit.  Password sharing is disabled and windows manages the homegroup connections.  Any advice would be appreciated, I need to use computer dvd players 7 on the network to install some things on the netbook.

  Hi Andre,

  I've struggled for some time with this one, here's how I finally solved it.  Apparently, USB drivers for mass storage devices was not compatible with my external hard drive.  I simply uninstalled the USB drivers for mass storage devices, then plugged my hard drive.  Automatically downloading appropriate drivers, and I was good to go.
