  Press F2 at startup.

  I don't think that the size will be a problem but you need to check if the HARD disk is read by the BIOS.

  • What happens when you start you computer?
  • Are you able to boot to the desktop?
  • You receive an error message?
  • If your friend has installed Windows 7 ultimate or just fixed the crash problem - was - it own installation\custom?
  • What version of Windows are you using?
  • When you say "windows home premium" are you referring to Windows Vista or Windows 7?

  I just bought an Acer Aspire E1 510.  I'm still in the learning curve for what is Windows 8.1 is as well as what Acer has to offer.  My first disappointment is my internal webcam.  It is made by Microsoft and use their software.   It takes horrible pictures... the quality is terrible.  My question is there any software I can use to take pictures that can improve the actual quality of my pictures.  Thanks for any help.

  There may be other applications of the camera in the Windows store to allow you to take pictures. If you click on the tile store, you can search for 'camera' or 'photo' to see if there is a more appropriate application.

  The right click button does not work on the mouse pad, as well as a usb mouse. I used Acer to factory restore disks to restore it to out of box state. Same question. If you use the control panel to switch the buttons then the only thing that happens is the cursor move no click at all.  Also after a period of rental time computer warm up suddenly the cursor works, but even the left click will not work it will highlight the icon but not allow you to click on it. I wonder is the only solution to replace the motherboard as it seems to be a worse problem of heat.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  And before I forget, Yes, I replaced the drivers a couple of both clean install so

  Looks like you did everything I thought and much more. He makes it sound like a problem with the hardware at this stage and would require the replacement of the motherboard. Looks like that the southbridge is not working properly.

  So, I contacted customer service and even sent in a ticket about this, so I thought I fixed it and is more required to send my laptop (I was transported with joy, that I just got my laptop back to Acer less than a month ago.)

  I was wrong - and I found the problem only occur when you remove the portable computer from loading. The screen will Flash very subtly... then again... then it would become quite obnoxious that the battery is exhausted.   I would say, if you have not already, download and install the latest graphics of the support Web site of for your V3 - 772G Acer driver. Another thing I would do would be to use one of the default power, like balanced or high performance options.

  If none of the above suggestions work and as a last resort, I would recommend recharge your computer Acer to factory default. If it does not the problem is most likely a hardware problem. If you set up a repair I would say providing very detailed instructions and how long it takes to reproduce the problem.
