I have a Standard 101/102 - Key or Microsoft Natural ps/2 keyboard - the digital section has stopped working
Hello
The digital Panel on the right side of the keyboard have stopped working, (the square Panel containing the num lock key).
The keys work on other computers.
It says that the driver is working correctly.
I tried to update the driver, and he said that I have the most up to date.
I guess it's just the settings or configuration isse, but I don't know where or how to solve this problem.
I'm totally NOT computer so please answer as if talking to a child of 3 years.

You can follow the methods and see if it helps.
Method 1
Use the PING command to verify that TCP/IP is working properly. To do this, ping the loopback address (127.0.0.1) by typing the following command at a command prompt:

I use microsoft picture it, version 2000. This software has been a recurring problem, first of all just slow down my computer when saving a photo, now not even open. I have over 3000 photos saved in this version. What should I do, Ken
FWIW... MS Picture It! 2000 is an obsolete program and will continue to cause problems, even if you manage to find a way to run it. If you have the original install CD... It may be interesting to try to uninstall/reinstall the program, but there may be problems if you are running Internet Explorer 7 or 8. You can also try running them in Compatibility Mode for Windows 2000.
I would certainly create a system restore point before uninstall/install any software.
I can only imagine that you have saved your pictures to .mix format which is not compatible with other image editing software.
IMHO... your best bet for the future would be to convert the .mix in .jpg or .png format files so they would be compatible with current image editing software.
There is always a trial of 60 days of MS, Digital Image Suite 2006 download. This software will be compatible with your .mix files and using the MiniLab you can batch convert them in .jpg format. (the number of files that you can convert at any given time will depend on your system resources I'm guessing 50 might be a place to start)
(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

No, the soft part of the operating system, so it would mean reload the iOS together. Have you tried a forced reboot yet?
Close all open applications by double-clicking the home button, and then drag to the top of the application window until it disappears from the screen.
Reset your device: press and hold the home button and the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black, and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

I need help. I have the Microsoft Natural ergonomic 4000 keyboard with IntelliType 8.15 64-bit for Windows 7 installed. I run on a brand new i7 with 9 GB of ram and 1 TB of hard drive. I just installed Office 2010. Have you tested this keayboard with Office 2010?I bought and returned 2 of these keyboards at my local dealer and two keyboards have the same problem. Preconfigured keys (help, undo, redo, new, open, close, reply, fwd, send, spell, save and print) F1 - F12 do function not all as they are indicated in MS Word 2010 etc. I was able to program my favorites 1-5 with little problem.
I did the following to try to resolve the problem:
1. research of virus (clean)
2. uninstalled the driver and downloaded the last strand 8.15 64
3 entered the keyboard layout configuration and reset the default settings
4 tried to manually program the F1 - F12 function keysNONE of these things solve the problem. Which brings me to the conclusion that this keyboard does not have to be 100% compatible with Office 2010.
Any suggestions / feature of configuration problems feature keys?
PS. No, I didn't record this keyboard, because is it not there no solution - he goes back to the retailer.

For some reason, thunderbird (windows 8) essentially has stopped working. More than one minute to open an email - all other functions have similar delays. I tried to archive, but I get a message that says that a script has stopped working. He does the same in thunderbird safe mode. My old computer (XP) works very well. I can't find my profiles on windows 8 to rebuild the database world.
Follow-up: McAfee was the problem. I contacted them via chat. Remotely, they took control of my computer and changed the settings. TBird works fine now.

If Firefox detects that the places.sqlite database is corrupted then Firefox can create a new database file and import bookmarks from a JSON backup that does not contain the most recent bookmarks (a new JSON backup is created when you run Firefox for the first time on a day), then you may lose the bookmarks in such a case.
You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

My iCloud and shared calendars has stopped working in MS Outlook today. They worked yesterday. Now, I get the error message "cannot open this series of records. The information store cannot be opened? I tried the fix standard support.

You get this error message when you start the desktop computer?
You can check if the complete startup items are checked in the msconfig utility.
1. open System Configuration by clicking Start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click the System Configuration.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. click the Startup tab and check if all the items are archived there.
You can also run a bag of security for your computer and check if this solves the problem.

If the problem persists, turn the computer in clean boot and check if all the background program is causing this error message. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
The steps to perform a clean boot are given below:
1 log on to the computer using an account with administrator rights
2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue
3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all
Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. Once you start the office see if you get the error message. If not then follow the divide and conquer method mentioned in the article below to know which program is causing the problem.

I find 'FIND' to search for a program of the PC-DOCTOR MODULE and can not find one on my system. and "googled" it and came up with some info, but I'm not sure if it's a real source of assistance of a scam 'spyware '! What I treat, something real, or something trying to eat me alive somehow?
