  • SMS preview missing in the notification bar.

    Hello

I recently did the 5.1 update and followed with a factory reset in order to get a clean install. Everything runs smoothly until out of the SMS preview. Before my changes, I could read a text message, one line at a time as a glimpse into the notification bar. I must have missed something or been more cautious when faced with fresh settings I get is more that.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

In Lollipop, this has been changed. When you receive a text message and you use the pre-installed mail application, only the messaging icon will appear in your notification field and no floating text / scrolling as in the previous software. Unfortunately, I am not aware of all the 3rd party apps that have this kind of functionality, but there could be some app via Google game there.

The volume icon is missing from my notification bar, even after I chose to display notifications and icon on the Customize link. What I have to restart to make it appear? Help!

The volume icon is missing from the taskbar.   I went through all "patches" involving verification of the register, checked the first three answers of Google and their corrections, and nothing works.  Is there a solution?  It complicates things as when I try to get my product ID for Windows 7, on the place right where the last 11 numbers should be, there is an icon brilliant Windows 7, so I can't get my product ID.

Should have started a thread for yourself rather than attach a wire that is older than a year.
