  After the last updates of windows have problems with start up and now drivers. I get an error code 21 when I try to install the drivers AMD apparently missing.

  May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update

  Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).

  Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.

  Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

  Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update

  If there is absolutely nothing on the disk you want, just format the drive and install Windows XP:

  1. start from the CD. You may need to change the first boot to a CD device in the BIOS. To do this, when you switch on the look for a configuration message indicating what key to start typing, F2 and del are commonly used. The message appears for very long and it you miss, you have to restart the computer. In the BIOS, look for a section that contains the boot sequence, change it to CD, save it and let the computer to restart.

  2. the installation sequence is answering the message press any key to boot from the CD, and then press ENTER to set up Windows, press F8 to accept the EULA, delete the partition, press ENTER, type L to confirm delete, type C to create a partition, choose (Quick) format.   In fact I know there. At the time where as I write this there are no 64-bit version of Flash Player. So, if you need to view a Web site that uses Flash, then you will need to use the 32 - bit IE version. at least for now. I'm sure that Adobe is going to release a 64 bit version of Flash Player at the end of January when Vista shipped to consumers. But then again, maybe not since Vista x 64 works 32-bit IE by default.

  When you scan a document, what you get is a * photo * of the words, not the words themselves. If the quality of this image is good, you can convert editable text using a software called OCR (OCR) character type.

  Unless you already have an OCR program (many scanners come with a 'Lite version' of some OCR program) you will need to buy. The best one is generally regarded as spnord Fine Reader, but Omnipage (which I use) is also very good.
