I have accidentally disabled my Active Desktop. How do I turn it on again?

I turned off my computer and when I rebooted it asked me if I wanted to turn off Active Desktop.  By mistake, I said yes.  Now I have a white screen for my office and can't get it back.

Hi Kathy,

1. do you get an error message/code?

2 Windows operating system is installed on the computer?

If you use Windows XP, then I suggest you for the link and follow the steps in the article.

To enable the Active Desktop interface http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/ie4_whatis_active_desktop.mspx?mfr=true
