  I think that Safari has the same keyboard shortcut in Firefox 'cmd + F' on a Mac or a 'Ctrl + F' on Windows.

  Well, I think that the answer to your question is 'no '.

  But I wonder how you intend to send to the recipients of 1700. Thunderbird will not let you send a message to as many addresses in one fell swoop, and I suspect that your email provider might be objected too.

  I suggest that consider you a merge and merge, which would create discreet messages from 1700, but then your main problem will receive relevant addresses of 1700 (minus 50) in a proper file.

Use Firefox on this laptop since the beginning, has begun to malfunction in the last week or two. Looks like one of the update of Firefox is not agree with Windows 8. I can't provide troubleshooting information because Firefox will not open long enough.
