    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not still in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Well, I'm quite sure that committed Microsoft Support Engineer 'expert' is just send you on another of their many wild goose hunting.

Surely, Imran M will come up with some other ideas - it's their job and they are the ones that Microsoft hired as their "experts".

Tell us exactly the message that see you in its entirety, follow this:

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update and do a quick scan with these free malware detection programs (not at the same time) and remove all threats:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

SAS will probably report a lot of tracking cookies and you can just let him delete them.

Then stand out my answer as the 'response' (which you do) for other people will see the topic is not resolved and you offer other ideas.

I am extremely grateful for any help, this problem is about to drive me
    crazy!

    I solved my problem...

To temporarily disable closing kick, after that the warning popup will appear, I went the prompt commands and typed in 'shutdown-a' so I could help out.

Then I went in under the Application Event Viewer and saw that some services weird I don't need anyway did not start because they had missing information/dll registry info.  It was originally the svchost.exe service to fail (and default recovery for this is to reboot)

I stopped the weird service (in this case, it was Hello) because I didn't need anyway, and went into the properties of this service and past earlier in "Manual" "automatic".

    Good luck

  • Downloaded the update for Firefox, and now I can't get rid of AOL.

Downloaded the update for Firefox, and now I can't get rid of AOL. I tried to remove anything that is related to AOL and when restart Firefox... There are once again AOL. I even reinstalled Firefox... He was there again.

Where AOL is displayed - homepage?

I think the first thing to check is if you have any modules related to AOL. These can replace your regular settings. You can view and disable all extensions essential or unknown here:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

Note that in most cases, you should use the link to restart Firefox to actually disable the extension that you have chosen to disable.

Then, to fix your homepage, try the procedure described in this article: How to set the home page.

If there is a problem with your suppliers of research from Google for AOL, try this extension:

  • Cannot access Windows Automatic Update after fixing error "generic host for Win32 process.

Had a problem with "Generic host process for Win32 has encountered a problem and needs to close."  Follow-up of the instructions on this link:

Seems to have cleared the error message.  So far so good.

However, now a Windows Update does not work.  Security Center Windows were told to go to control panel > system and use the Automatic Updates tab.  But, if I go to control panel > system, the Automatic Updates tab does not appear.

I also went to the control panel > Services.  Tried to start the automatic updates service.  Received this error message: could not start the service automatic updates on Local computer.  Error 126: The specified module is not found.

Please help me to get the automatic updates to run.  Thank you!

  • I seem to have malware or adware installed with my last update. How can I get rid of him?

Ads popping all over... additional tabs open with "studies". I looked at all the messages of support, and nothing seems to address how to get rid of it. I even trashed Firefox and reloaded. The same problem. This does not happen with Safari. I am ready to trash Firefox constantly and just go back to using Safari. Want to do that, I love Firefox, but this recent problem is really annoying.

If you have installed Firefox from the official website of Mozilla, these pop-ups should not happen. They are normally caused by an extension, or an application external hanging in Firefox.

If you to not download from these links and still have the link you downloaded since then, can report you to:

Can provide you also a link to others who have the same problem?

If you have downloaded Firefox from the official link, have you tried to run Firefox in safe mode to see if these statements still appear?

Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
