  And you can install it on two computers (can be a mac or windows / Mac or / or windows).

  Yes, of course for that.  Almost every plug-in on Windows depends on a kind of DLL C runtime library, at the very least, as well as the kernel dll.  Our plug-in uses several DLLs on Windows (and dylibs and frameworks on Mac), including wxWidgets (a cross-platform GUI similar to Qt library).  In Windows, you must install the dll in the system folder (or the location of the side-by-side in the case of runtime DLL) or in a subfolder under the InDesign Plug-ins folder that also contains your plugin .pln file.

  EDIT: The wording of your question threw me a bit.  It is not a question of if "Adobe" supports plug-ins that link to the dll.  There is no product named 'Adobe '.  There is a company called Adobe, which has several products that support plug-ins, including InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.  So what you really mean to ask is, " InDesign agree plugins that have an external link to a DLL as Qt?  I misread your question as asking questions about Acrobat, that many people also call "Adobe".

  In any case, it's our plug-in Acrobat that uses wxWidgets, not our plug-in for InDesign.  Although InDesign plug-ins should be able to use DLLs as well.  That said, though, I'm pretty sure that Adobe prefers allows you to use the InDesign SDK for palettes and dialog boxes in InDesign, instead of using the other GUI libraries.
