  And you need a DVD of Vista from Microsoft to do a repair installation upgrade according to the instructions, NOT the normal manufacturer's recovery disks.

  You will need to borrow a Microsoft Vista DVD from a friend or working knowledge.

  the foregoing is all what you need to know.  the following is additional information that might help you to understand more thoroughly, but if are just confused you re-read the above and ignore what is below.

  for all adobe software (except standard acrobat and outside the cc from adobe which is another story) when you purchase an adobe product, you get a serial number.

  then, you download trial (for anything but standard acrobat) software that you activate with your serial number.

  software from cs2 is available on adobe.com or its prodesigntools.com affiliated with the exception of standard programs acrobat.  (but even they can be revoked in the future is a good idea to save those currently available install files, also.)

  standard programs acrobat not available as tests so those install files should always be saved for future installations.
