I have emails with attachments with a .pps extension. While I installed PowerPoint viewer, I still can not open them.

I have emails with attachments with a .pps extension.  Although I installed PowerPoint Viewer, I can not even open them, I get the message: the file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the set Associations in the control panel.  I think I could do it, but still could not open the file.

Thank you

If you have PowerPoint, you may need to reset the associations so PowerPoint automatically opens files.
