I have NO SOUND on my computer and the Windows Media Player error message is C00D11BA.
To try to solve the problem that I discovered in the Audio tab in sounds and Audio devices properties, there is No default unit in the area of audio playback and No default unit in the peripheral zone of MIDI playback. In addition, the general tab in the properties of the device Audio USB says "this device is working properly" and that it is enabled as described in the use of the device box. The general tab of the device Audio USB also said the "Driver is enabled and working properly."
I am able to record dictation through a program of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
I'm on Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3, and before that I lost sound had not recently added that any hardware or software even though I may have uninstalled some rarely used program.
Hello
The usual cause of the error C00D11BA is when the sound card drivers are not installed or outdated.
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device, such as a map his or her controller.

Windows Media Player error message says that I don't have the media usage rights acquisition.
Original title: Windows Media Player
Am not able to play music in Windows Media Player to the library after the transfer of music from another computer. Error message says that I don't have the media usage rights acquisition.
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community and we give the opportunity to help you.
Cause of the error:
Windows Media Player uses Microsoft Digital Rights Management (DRM) to protect the rights of content owners who protect their music or video products in this manner. You must have usage rights required to play, burn, or sync protected content.
How to upgrade the DRM license?
By default, Windows Media Player will automatically attempt to acquire the rights of use in silence unless the server requires some input on your part (for example, registration or tax information). You can disable the automatic rights acquisition. In this case, you will be asked to obtain the rights for any new content that requires them. To prevent Windows Media Player from acquiring rights automatically, do the following:
a. click on the arrow on the now playing tab, and then click Other Options.
b. click on the Privacy tab, and clear the automatically check if protected files need to be refreshed check.
Please note that this setting affects not acquisition of rights of use of online stores.

No sound during playback of DVD in Windows Media Player
- No sound during playback of DVD in Windows Media Player.
Media Center recently stopped working altogether, the message alleges a solution will be found, but he never comes to the top with one and there seems to be no resolution right ahead of internet, I can see others too have a similar problem.
So I would try Media Player, no joy it is thinking.
It reads the dvd no sound, I go into options and make sure the external emu sound card is set, yes all well, but as soon as I put it on youtube videos sound turns off by train to play media player so a sort of conflict, if I close Opera / chrome browser and reopen his is back.
Update or reinstall the drivers for the sound card in Device Manager, checking the PC or Support Downloads Web page of the card for more recent or different driver.
Physically, reinstall the sound card to make sure that the contacts and the slots are clean and tight connections.
If you have an audio chip embedded, try to use it to compare.
Try the VLC media player to see if it has the same problem.
Have you updated flash player for your browser?
Try another browser to compare.
Establish a clean boot, check for infection and then run the System File Checker of the steps in troubleshooting for Windows 7
For irreparable system files, run a repair facility.
It's much lower plant? If so Clean Up Factory Bloatware and consider to go from worst to best with...
Maybe it's time for a clean reinstall Windows 7? The steps in the link provide the best possible installation.

I can't burn my CD on Windows Media Player error "connect a burner and restart the player.
I have a bunch of files music m4a songs bought on iTunes that are on the Windows Media Player. I insert a blank CD, and he refuses to burn the songs. I put it in my laptop, go to the option burn and it says "connect a burner and restart the player ' and doesn't read that there is a CD in there, even if there is. Even if I put all the songs I want in it, it won't work. I need help.
No problem, at least it's a step forward that it is not only the media player.
At this point if the CD-ROM drive does not at all, it could be a couple of things.
- First of all, just make sure under the folders under the view tab Options, that the "hide empty drives" is not selected. It could make your CD-ROM writer hidden just because there is no data in there at the moment.
- The drive appears not could also be that it is disconnected, but it's not terribly likely.
- Check Device Manager to see if the CD drive is listed, and if she has any warnings associated with it. You can open the Device Manager by performing a search in the search box of the start menu. Locate the CD drive in the list, and then double-click it to view the status. He can say everything is fine, or can provide details on all issues. Also, while you're here, you can check an updated driver. But this brings me to the next point...
- If the driver he is already up to date, it is interesting to watch your your model computer manufacturer Web site see if they have a newer version. Sometimes Device Manager detects outdated drivers and uses, when the manufacturer's website has something more recent.

I can play songs bought on iTunes on both the computer & iPod. According to the description of the problem, you cannot synchronize the present albums on Windows Media with Apple's IPod player.
Please answer these questions to better understand the issue and help you:
1. does come with any particular album?
2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?
Let us try the following methods:

missing windows media player error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F
My windows media player is missing and my system is not let me reinstall it (error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F) how can I solve this problem? Thank you!
Hi Trish,
Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum!
Based on the information you gave it seems you found the error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F during the installation of Windows Media player.
If you have windows 7 installed, it is not possible to uninstall Windows Media Player 12. Windows Media Player 12 comes preinstalled with the operating system. You can not downgrade to Windows Media Player 11 in Windows 7.
I suggest you to follow the link and check if it is enabled or disabled, and then restart the computer to start windows media player 12.

I have music files in my playlists that I can't make it appear in the Windows Media Player library
Original title: Player Windows medis library - Playlist trouble
-J' have music files in my playlists that I can't make it appear in the library - how can I sync the two up - I tried the usual fall / drag...
Hello
1. is the specific issue of the reading list?
2 are you able to add other songs in the Windows Media Player library?
3 did you changes to the computer before the show?
The Player library is the location in the player that lists all of the music, videos and photos on your computer.
When you play a media file on your computer or a removable storage device, the file is automatically included in the Player library, so you can access it directly from the reader. And if you have access to remote media stored on other computers on your network, you can change the player settings to add those files remotely to the Player library when you play them. The reader does not automatically add a file that you play from removable media, such as a CD or DVD.
Since you aren't able to add songs to the library, you can try the following and see if they help.
Method 1: Open the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player library
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-library-Troubleshooter
Method 2:
This problem may be due to database corruption. You can delete the Windows Media Player database and check if the problem persists.
Steps to clear the database of windows media player:
a. exit Windows Media Player.
b. Click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
d. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
a. exit Windows Media Player.
b. Click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and then click OK.
c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
d. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

I have tried to resolve the error C00D1197 for months and ran into a field that says "to enable all network protocols. How would I do that as this error comes up saying "Windows Media player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted". I try to rip and burn and can not and some music from the library has different songs on the album listed, but it plays ok. A little help from a friend if you please. TKS, Jimbo
