I clean my computer by doing a disk defragmentation, disk cleanup and uninstall programs that I don't use. Then I restarted my computer and then I had no sound at all. I tried restoring the system to get what I deleted the return, but it did not work.
He asks me if I want to install a new hardware (multimedia audio controller, but I do not have a cd). I did the whole looking for your device under "video controller and games sounds" but all what I have there is: ".
-Legacy Audio drivers
-Hardware video Captuers
-Media control devices
I also tried "roll back driver" on the yellow question mark (multimedia audio controller) and it is said that "no driver files have been backed up for your device. Ive tried to update the device by choosing a type of material. but AC 97 controller 'may not be compatible"and mess up my computer.
Im not really a computer person, so I don't know it that im doing. I don't know the brand of my sound card. I do not know how to find it or what, I just want my sound back, help!
It is likely that the sound driver was eliminated during the uninstallation of some programs. In this case, try to go to your computer manufacturer's website to download and install the audio driver. They should have ALL the drivers for your computer model. :-)

I don't know why it would be... does show the taskbar when you are on the desktop?
As a last resort, you can try the "turn system icons on or" and "restore default icon behaviors."

If you bought the DVD of Windows 7 with the license, and it's a retail license, Yes, you can transfer it to another computer.
OEM, pre-installed Dell, HP, etc. as well as Microsoft OEM System Builders licenses are non-transferable to another computer. They are tied to the computer first they are installed on the.
Retail licenses are transferable. Remember that a single installation is allowed at a time.
You may need to do a phone Activation when you reinstall on another computer.
Here's some more information on Windows 7 for you:

It is Xandros, since 2007. How did you 3.0.4 on Xandros is beyond me, the package GTK's too old.
Your best bet is to install a new operating system, like maybe Ubuntu 11.04. It is not an easy task, however, it becomes a little more complicated because you don't have a CD/DVD drive in the EeePC. You need to first get the ISO image to a USB Flash key.
That's what I did last summer with my EeePC 900 model.
His comes at the start of my place of windows. Whenever I need to close and open a session to get the volume icon on the Notification area. I can see icon volume to customize the Notification area icons & select the "Show icon & notifications" and then after that I can't get the volume icon.

Rob Brown - MS MVP: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.
original title: no sound - Fix he said "either Windows Audio and Windows Audio services end Point Builder is not running." What should do?
When I ran Microsoft Fix it for audio, it says that it is unable to solve the problem. The message was "two windows audio and Windows Audio end Point generator services must run for audio works correctly." At least one of these services is not running. "What should I do now?

A few days ago, my computer (Windows 7 OS) stopped connecting to the internet. When I troubleshooted, it produces an error of "your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not. I Googled it and tried a lot of things that have been suggested - flushing the DNS, reseting the TCP/IP, etc... None of them worked. At the end of the day, I did a restore of the system to a restore point a few days before starting my computer having these problems and then it started working again. But whenever I have to stop and restart my computer, the problem happens again. Any help as to what could be the problem or how I can fix this problem would be much appreciated!
You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.
See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee
You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.
YouTube videos that I take with my HTC Desire have no sound when I download it to my computer, what should I do to change this? It is only on videos taken with the phone not my camera.
· What is the operating system installed on the computer?
· What application you're using to play the video?
· You hear sound when playing video on the HTC desire?
You can check if good codecs are installed for the downloaded videos to play on the computer. A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.
