Hello Fernbergjim,

I see that this problem is originally a drawback to the use of your iMac. This question most likely has something to do with the internal parts of your iMac. You may be able to make an Apple store to pay compensation in addition to the right of your country's consumption (depends on your country).

This problem would be better fixed during the inspection by adopting it an Apple Store. If you have additional questions, do not hesitate to ask

Best regards

  • Qosmio G15: Green vertical lines on the screen

All started an ordinary day, when I was playing music on my iTunes.
All of a sudden my screen went black and the music stopped, but my power button is always blue. Since then, whenever I try to start it, it goes on the Qosmio screen and Windows XP screen and plays the startup sound, but there all those green vertical lines on the screen. And then it goes black and tsays in this way.

I was able to use Windows VGA (whatever that means) with lines all over the screen, but I am not able to start normally. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had the same problem? Please help me!

How is - someone must provide an exactly fault diagnosis without putting the hand on this laptop?
Here, we can suggest and discuss only!

If she really looks like a hardware problem, but the question is; What s wrong.
In my opinion, you must connect the external monitor to the laptop. Check if the same vertical line appears on the second screen!

If Yes, then the chances are high that the graphics card is broken! This could be a case value because the GPU is soldered on the Board and the entire motherboard must be replaced to solve this problem.

    Hey Buddy,

Unfortunately ' unfortunately it seems that this defect is caused by component defective equipment.» It could be that the motherboard together that cost to a service center about 400 European must be replaced. (New card mother and Exchange)
You can also try to clean your cooling system with a can of compressed air to remove dust which could probably cause the error, also.

  • Green vertical lines / tracks audio FX of detachment and the music of the video clip

    iMovie 10.1 on El Capitan

This isn't a simple modification / detach Audio edition.  Is delete an image only without deleting the other independent music and audio tracks FX built under it (not worth original audio with the image).

I built FX and music tracks on a video that has many Visual changes (with some images just by music).  Now, I want to change a few images, but when I cut the video image, some FX and music under it also disappears (tracks built under the image, not shot with it).

It seems that green vertical lines under the picture (in the time line) are tying in various capacities, although these FX and music tracks run far beyond the video image and were not turned with the video image.

How can I remove those green vertical lines and detach these multiple audio tracks of the image I want to cut?  Thank you.

Yes, if you delete a video file or even attached with audio clip, the audio will be deleted also.  You must move the anchor (green line) to an adjacent element.  To do this hold command and alt (option) key down and click on in the half superior audio clip (or in the clip of Cup or title) where you want the connection be moved on.

(If there is no synchronization issues you can simply change the audio if it is related to another clip, and then quarterback after the change of the image.)

    Hello

Monitor or a computer might have hardware problems.

Check the video cables at both ends - monitor and the computer.

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (at both ends, where this is possible)-in fact
Remove and reinstall - no not just tight. Clean the dust bunnies and make sure that the vents are clear.
Make sure you fans work when you put it back together.

If any help try the monitor on another computer and another monitor on this computer to see if you
can determine who has the problem.

You may need to communicate with the monitor or support the system Maker (or video if another card manufacturer

"Perhaps," it's a driver issue (which is doubtful). (Use Mode safe if you need.)

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This

  • I have a white vertical line down the right side of my screen

    Hi all

    Can someone help please.
I noticed a day or two there is a white vertical line appear on my screen.  Have you checked the updates etc, but nothing seems to have fixed.
    Can someone please help :-)

    Hi Vicky,

I apologize for the late response.

If you still experience the problem, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the monitor that has the problem and check if it is a hardware problem in the monitor.

This is because, in Safe Mode, the graphics drivers do not work on your computer. Because you have encountered the problem in Mode safe as well, it indicates that the problem is not caused by a problem in the software that controls the attributes of your display unit. So, at this point, it would be better if we check for hardware issues in the monitor. We do not have enough expertise to help you to diagnose hardware problems, but the hardware manufacturer specialize in this.

I hope that this information will take a step more toward the resolution of the issue. If you have additional questions about Windows, do not respond. We are happy to be of assistance.

    Help, please

    Hi André,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community where you can find all the answers related to windows.

This issue could be the settings with the monitor or screen discs has been corrupted.

I suggest to start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

In safe mode will have reduced functionality, but the task of isolating problems is easier because many non-core components are disabled readers even display.

Start your computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If the problem does not persist in safe mode, and then perform a clean boot in order to check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the following Microsoft article:

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 3: to reset the computer as usual.

If you are able to boot into normal mode, with success, then I suggest you download and install the latest driver for the display driver.

  • vertical line on my screen.

I have a pale green vertical line that stays on my screen. How can I get rid of him?

    Hello

If you have the means, attach another monitor. If the problem persists, the cause is the video card. If this isn't the case, you will need to replace the monitor.

If it is the video card, update the drivers can help. It can also be caused by the card not sitting correctly in the slot of the motherboard, and can help to resettlement. You will find that you need to replace the card.
