I have pictures on my PC and want to pull them out on a DVD

My photos are loaded onto my pc but I do not understand how to make a DVD of their - there has wrinkles, I need to know?

Archive your photos on a CD

If the number of photos stored on your computer has become unmanageable, you can archive image files by saving them to a CD.

To save your photos on a CD

  1. Click Start, click my pictures.

  2. Select the photos you want to archive, and then click OK. To select several folders containing images, hold the CTRL key while making your selections.

    If all the images are in a folder, you can select all the contents of the folder. Double-click the folder that contains the images, then click on the Edit menu, click select all, and then click OK.

  3. To check if the size of your choice is not greater than the capacity of the CD, click the file menu, click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, click the general tab, and then examine the size field.

    If the specified size is less than the capacity of your CD (usually 640 to 720 MB), images will be fit on the CD. If the size is larger than this, you will need to select images less to save on CD.

  4. Under management of images, click copy to CD.

    A message bubble that says that you have the files waiting to be written on the CD appears.

  5. Click in the message bubble. A window showing the folders you have chosen to record on the CD appears.

  6. Under CD writing tasks, click write these files to CD. The Assistant burn a CD will start.

  7. In the CD name box, type a name for your CD, and then click Next.

    If you have already inserted a blank CD in the CD drive, your files will be start the copy. If you have not inserted a blank CD in the drive, you will be asked to do.

  8. If you are prompted want to create a HighMAT CD compatible?, leave the check box, and then click Next.

  9. After that your files are properly recorded on the CD, click Finish. Your CD will be automatically ejected from the car.

  10. To verify that the images were copied successfully to the Conference on disarmament or look at the pictures you've recorded, insert the CD into the CD drive and close the drive. When you are prompted, click open folder to view files using Windows Explorer, and then click OK.

  11. Double-click the folder that contains the pictures and then double-click on the photos you want to display. When you are finished, close the window.
