I have PS 12 elements, the program does not recognize the RAW format of my new Canon 7 d mark II camera... any suggestions...?

My PS elements 12 is up to date, and the program says that my version of RAW cannot be recognized. I just bought a Canon 7 d Mark II. It wasn't a problem with my Canon 7 d uggestions or ideas are appreciated... Thank you

The new camera requires Camera Raw 8.7. Photoshop elements 12 will accommodate only up to 8.5. You will need to upgrade Photoshop Elements or use the DNG Converter to create DNG copies that you can use with what you have.
