  You can switch the language under "Preferences-> Apps-> App Language". It is in fact based on the language of the operating system of your machine.

I know that this product is more supported officially by Adobe as its an old product, but does that mean I can buy a students or teachers of this product version and install it even if I'm not a student or a teacher myself? And in general the Adobe CS4 products work internationally? I was able to save the files on the hard disk, bought a new computer and installed CS5.5 on my desktop. has worked well. Now I'm trying to install it on my laptop and it asks me to insert the disc? I tried to call adobe support and they said that they have not been trained to answer questions about CS5.5 - and I would have to use this discussion forum. GRRRR.

  OK well I have a solution to my own question. I tried to install it on the USB and all I had to do was copy the folder on the desktop, and then install it from there. has worked well!
