I have to wait about 5 minutes between loading time and the Welcome screen

Need me quite a long time to wait I'm not why. It worked normally until I installed a new type of explore (7.0) from the Internet, after that I restarted my computer, I have to wait about 5 minutes to see the Welcome screen. Can someone help me, thanks

Hello

It is not easy to say why this happen here. I recommend you to visit the FAQ section of the official website of Microsoft. Maybe you will find something interesting.

I heard that IE 7.0 has own firewall and it is possible that there are some conflicts with the firewall of Windows XP Home edition. Check it out and try to disable the firewall of Windows XP Home edition to see if the operating system boots faster.

Good bye

  • After running for 1-2 hrs closed windows, not to wait about 5 minutes to turn off turn back on. What can cause my computer shut down

While on the internet (firefox) after using it for about an hour my computer shuts down automatically for no reason.  I have to wait about 5 minutes to turn back.  During the restoration of my session, I get this message "the script is not responding," if I hit continue Firefox closes running.

There are several reasons that the PC automatically stops due to the error, usually you would see blue screen and system restart. It could be a hardware or software error. Windows check log and see what the cause was also check problem and solution center and see if something is there. Also update your Windows and run the disk check. • You try to transfer data to new computer, takes about 30 minutes to collect data, and then told me that it will take 33 + hours of transfer

I have 2 PC, two 40 g X 2 g, an old score about 12 GB of data, 71% free, new is ready to receive. When I make the connection with a null cable and start, it takes about 30 minutes to put together and start the transfer, but it gives a transfer time of 33 + hrs and that means, I let it run for about 6 hours, and he was always less than 6% of fact. No games or large, larger files is about 12 MB. Any help? Bob

If cable "null", you hear a serial RS-232 cable, you probably chose the slowest method of data transfer possible.  A serial cable tops out at raw data of 115 Kbps (115 000 bits per second) rate the most current Ethernet 100 Mbit/s connection - is about 1000 times faster.

I don't know why some s/w you use takes 30 minutes to "collect" information before starting the transfer, but if you have about 12 GB of data (and don't have / want an Ethernet connection), why not just get a big enough USB.  You can get a 8 GB USB key for less than $15 and a 16 GB for about $20.  If you have USB 2.0 (which is likely, unless your old computer is older than 10 years), the maximum raw data rate is 480 Mbps with rates effective data around 20-30 MB/s for the memory sticks.

At 20 MB/s, 12 GB should be transferred in about 600 seconds or 10 minutes.

  • Problem of password of account, without that we can connect to the network on this computer. The error indicates, "the trust relationship between this device and the network is no longer valid.

Hi, I hope you can help with this problem. A friend has 6 computers networked to a Tower Server and have a problem. A worker student put computers into hibernation, and since then, nobody can connect to the network on this computer. The error indicates, "the trust relationship between this device and the network is no longer valid. I tried to get into the pc to try removing network and replace it, but I can't get on the Administrators account because it has been disabled. I'm at a loss on how to proceed. My friend cannot afford a service call, so I'll try to help him.  Thank you

If the computer is on a domain then there are at least two accounts that can be used to remove the computer from the domain:

    • A domain administrator account.
    • A local administrator account.

When your friend has launched Windows for the first time after buying the machine, he was prompted to enter the name of an account. This account is created automatically with administrator privileges. He should use it now.

  • Windows 8 to jump between Metro UI and the office at startup.

This morning, I turn on my laptop HP ENVY-M6. Booted up fine, except he was stuck on the home screen when I connect. So I held the power button to stop it. I tried to start it again. He started, but when I proceed to log in the background color is different than the one I took. After leaving the Welcome screen, he jumped between the metro UI screen and a black screen with a bar gray at the bottom. The screen of the metro UI has also much lower tiles that I remember.

Please help because I have to use the laptop of the future.
    Hello

Follow the troubleshooting methods listed here.

    Method 1

Step 1: Put the computer in safe mode with networking

With the parameters of Windows startup screen (formerly advanced startup options), you can start Windows in different advanced troubleshooting modes, so you can find and fix problems on your PC. In previous versions of Windows, you might get to the screen by pressing F8 before Windows starts. 8PCs Windows start quickly so there is not enough time to press F8.

Follow the steps in the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode

If the computer works properly, please perform the following step.

Step 2: Put the computer to boot and search for the issue.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting section of Kb to start the computer to a normal startup after you fix the problem

    Method 2:

Step 1: Follow the steps in the method 1 step 1 to start the computer in safe mode with network and then follow the steps given below.

I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: during the analysis of the disk hard if bad sectors are found, the parser attempts to repair this area, all available on which data may be lost.

Step 2: analyze and run Windows Defender in offline mode.

Windows Defender offline can help eliminate these hard to find malicious and potentially unwanted programs using definitions that recognize the threats. Definitions are files that provide an encyclopedia of potential software threats. Follow the steps in the link here. Download the appropriate file depending on the version of bits in your computer.

What is Windows Defender in offline mode?

Important: during the analysis of the disk hard if bad sectors are found, the parser attempts to repair this area, all available on which data may be lost.

Method 3: Create a new user account and then check the issue.

Follow jhere steps to create another user account. After you have created the new cheque from account for the issue and follow the steps here to transfer the settings from the old account.

The steps given here are valid only if your computer is not on the field or the working group.

    (a) press Windows W + X Key. Click on Control Panel.

    b) under the View tab unchecked Hide protected operating system files and Hide extensions of known file types.

    c) go to the location

    C:\Users\(Your-old-Profile-Name)-.

C: may be different according to the drive where you installed Windows 8.

    (d) copy all files except three files:

    NtUser.dat
            NtUser.ini
            NtUser.log

If you can't find the last file, then there will be two log file with . Log1 and . Log2 extensions.

    e) go C:\Users\(New-User-Profile-name)-

    (f) paste all files copied here.

    (g) now delete the old profile. You have transferred all the information and the profile settings corrupted to the newly created user profile successfully.
