I have Trojan in csrss.exe, leading to more mistakes 7 000.
My computer is slow to connect to Internet Explorer. I called the technical support of IE, and it has taken control of my computer remotely. He found that a Trojan horse attached to the csrss.exe file. This file is essential to Windows oprating system, he said. It is originally more 7 000 errors. What should I do to fix this? Should I really have to pay 149.00 to fix this. The tech said this Trojan horse is deep into my system, and that ordinary security software won't fix. Help!

2 apparently valid csrss.exe files
I have 2 versions of the csrss. running exe file. I seem to have one different problem than others with this issue. In the Task Manager: show the user as 'System', both under Win32, the two will allow me to complete the process, but I get the BSOD with the two, in the properties they are exactly the same... even the same install date. It uses 1-2 mb while another uses 5-6 mb, shows 0 cpu. Only reason why I checked, is that I have installed a new virus protector that won't start. Their support has called for one is a Trojan horse that weaken their software. Everything else seems OK, no slow downs or software problems. Operating system is Win7 64 bit.
You get a csrss.exe plus one for each connected user. You will also have an another csrss.exe conhost.exe running if you start a command prompt.

I have a virus in my system of csrss.exe
I have two systems of csrss.exe on my computer. I know that one is a viruse and who he is. can someone tell me hoe to remove it.
Thanks in advance.
I recommend that you let your virus scanner check your computer infections rather worry that you are not familiar with the system files.
Suggest that you first spread malware as the cause of the problem by following these steps:
I. - delete your temporary files
Clean the system (compensation to all temp/tmp folders and included all the content offline, the tif browser, delete the cookies of compensation.)
http://winhelp2002.MVPs.org/delcache.htm>
Click Start > all programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup
II. - have your system scanned as a result of security/antivirus installed.
III. - run this tool from Kaspersky: how to remove malware belonging to the family of Rootkit. Win32.TDSShttp://support.Kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?QID=208280684>
IV. - download, install, update and run both of these tools to a-squared free scans:A very good antimalware app is SUPERAntiSpyware (SAS) and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (MBAM).
It is recommended to use the intelligent quick scan regularly, and complete analysis on a longer frequency - weekly, monthly - or only when something is found or you have a reason to suspect

Csrss.exe is a standard part of Windows, and the Task Manager cannot display their properties.
To make sure that they are legitimate Windows programs, you can examine them with the free program from Windows Sysinternals Process Explorer :
Download ProcessExplorer.zip from the link I gave.
Right-click and unzip the file.
Right click on the extracted Procexp.exe file.
Click run as administrator .
Make a right click Csrss.exe or winlogon.exe in the process list.
Click on Properties .
Click the Image tab.
Click on the check button.
It should show that the file is loaded from the directory C:\Windows\System32\ and tell (checked) Microsoft Windows .

Strange the Task Manager warning when you try to complete the csrss.exe process.
I have recently had a few horses Trojan one my system. In my paranoia I'm looking for anything that could be a virus remaining. I was looking through my list of remaining process and ensuring that everything was legitimate. I was watching csrss.exe to check to see if it was in the right place on my computer. When I right click on the process, I accidentally hit end process. The warning displayed was different from warning of other processes that I tried to stop, he said "you want to interrupt the system process"csrss.exe "? To end this process stops the operating system immediately. You will lose unsaved data. Are you sure you want to continue? "Then below, there was a box that says 'give up unsaved data and close '. When this check box is selected, a button that says closed which was gray now became available to click. I just found it strange and I've never seen this warning before ending other processes.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOVE:
The warning was "you want to interrupt the system process"csrss.exe "? To end this process stops the operating system immediately. You will lose unsaved data. Are you sure you want to continue? »Underneath, there is a box that says 'give up unsaved data and close '. Thought it was strange.
Well, it's because you probaby not tried to put an end to such a crucial process before.

Csrss.exe generates false updates from MS word
In general, 15 minutes after a system restart, a popup opens to tell me that an update is available in Word. Following the process in the Task Manager, I find that it is csrss.exe which is causing the issue. If I close the popup via the Task Manager it doesn't happen until the next reboot, and even not by clicking ok in the pop-up window seems do nothing (I followed the tasks Manager). How can I go to get rid of this problem?
Windows 7, usually last updated I think.
I get a random BSOD once in a while (maybe every month 2-4), which I always thought was my motherboard having problems and spoil, but perhaps this is too much. I've upgraded my PC to sleep most of the time rather than stop it.
- And your protection to the real-time AV program is...?
-What anti-malware scanners have tried so far to confirm that it is a malware related issue?
Following the process in the Task Manager, I find that it is csrss.exe which is causing the issue.
How do you determine this? Could you please elaborate more. Where is it located? Have you looked up in msconfig for a 'false' startup program?
The file real csrss.exe is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. In other cases, csrss.exe is a virus, spyware, Trojan or worm which should not be confused with the C:\Windows\System32\csrss.exe legitimate.
Suggest that you scan the PC using some (or all) of the following free anti-malware tools:
- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Free Edition ONLY! ) Not the trial version - not the Premium version). To do this, you must 'uncheck' > 'enable the free trial version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware bonus '.
- HitmanPro3 (free license - 30 days).
I get a random BSOD once in a while (maybe every 2-4 months)...
The course of behavior unacceptable:(dont vous devez prendre soin de l'ASAP.)

How can I know the exact date of the csrss.exe download?
HelloW please someone tell me how can I know the exact date of the download or installation of csrss on my pc. in the properties of the box, I can only find an old date (date of creation 2009) but think I didn t have this pc so... Please help me
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand that you have questions about the date of download csrss.exe.
But I would like to know more information, to help you better.
(1) get any error message related to this csrss.exe process?
(2) what is the problem in the computer?
In the meantime, please refer to the below suggestion.
In fact, the csrss.exe is not a program that can be downloaded, it is rather a process in the Windows System. Thus, it would display the date of creation as the process is being created. Csrss.exe is a system process that is needed for your PC to function properly. It should not be deleted.
The Microsoft Client Server Runtime Server subsystem uses the csrss.exe. This process of management of the majority of the graphical instruction sets under the Microsoft Windows operating system. As such Csrss.exe offers the important functions of the operating system, and the Blue Screen of Death displayed may lead to his termination.
Csrss.exe threading and features of Win32 console window controls. Threading is where the application itself is divided into several simultaneous running tasks. Threads supported by csrss.exe are different
process in this son are usually included in the process, with different threads, sharing of resources within the same process. The Win32 console is plain text window in the Windows API system (programs can use the console without the need for display of the image).Additional information:
Csrss.exe
I hope this helps. Otherwise, feel free to write back and we woll will be happy to help.
Thank you

Csrss.exe pic 100% CPU for Win 2003 Server
Hello
Recently, I've migrated a physical server to virtual (Server 2003 R2 Std). After that, I see high utilization of the processor in the csrss.exe process.
I tried to check in via Process Explorer. Csrss.exe displays as much CPU being picked up in Process Explorer as it does in the Task Manager window.
I tried the below, without a bit of luck.
(1) complete analysis of Ran. No Virus found.
(2) removed corrupt profiles (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555021/en-us)Sometimes, when I have connection I noticed my profile size is 4 GB.
You guys can suggest me any solution to workaround to fix high CPU usage.
The migrated VM is single processor
