I have Windows 7 and that you must upgrade to Service Pack 1. But Windows Update says "Windows is up-to-date." ???
Today, I took my laptop and that fixed it. They installed Windows 7 (I have problems with Windows 10). Now I'm adding all of my programs, and was told that I needed "Service Pack 1" installed. It shows that I have Windows 7 when I right click on computer and click Properties. I don't have Service Pack 1. When I go to Windows update, it says "Windows is up-to-date. But if I don't have Service Pack 1, how Windows Update? And how to fix this?
You can download a setup of Service Pack 1 offline:

Select the appropriate language, and then run the installation program

I bought Photoshop CS6 Student Edition through B & H in 2014 for two users, which I used in my 2 laptops and yesterday I have one of my laptops upgraded Windows 8 to 10 Windows without disabling the Photoshop CS6 Student Edition on it. Now, when to start the download of the software again in the same portable computer the installer says, I used 2 options and impossible to install any other software. What should I do to install the software again?

I create files in Photoshop CS-5 for a book that I publish. My Publisher needs the links I used in creating my files, in order to prepare my files for printing.
She asked me to go to "File", click on the 'package' and my links would be included. However, when I open "Queue" I don't see a "Package deal" option Is it possible
to assemble my links and include them in a folder with my file using CS - 5? How can I do this with CS - 5, or what upgrade or newer version do I need to do?
Normally you wouldn't send Photoshop only work to a printer, with the exception of a single page design. The printer can not be supposed to know what size and layout, and the order you need. If there is more than one, you'd pages in InDesign and place in there - normally (but not necessarily) Photoshop is used only for photos and InDesign to add text.

I have XP and that you want to upgrade to XP Pro, but Windows will not let me.
My office recently crashed and I replaced the windows XP home that came on the machine. I also have a copy of XP Pro upgrade that I want to install because pro allows me to office remote host and does not House. These are both legally purchased copies. When I try to upgrade to pro it won't let me and warned me that the original desktop version is newer than the upgrade. I don't like the age I want the features I paid for the upgrade.
All solutions?1. determine what service pack is now installed (right click on desktop and select properties). You must have service pack 3, but if you have recently reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition, you may have neglected to update at this point.
2. either consider that if you have a CD for an earlier version of Windows (98, Me, 2000), you can do a "clean install" of XP Pro by booting from the CD-ROM to upgrade XP Pro and then insert the qualifying product CD when asked.
3. If you want to 'upgrade' to protect the applications and data already installed on XP Home, first back up your data (just in case). As indicated in the error message, your upgrade installation CD must be equal or superior to your current installation of XP Home service pack level. Compare the service pack level of your installation of XP Home (see 1 above) and the level of service pack of your XP Pro installation CD. Then create a CD slipstreamed that combines the real CD XP Pro you have with the correct service pack. There are many instructions for this on the web. See http://lmgtfy.com/?q=slipstream+xp
I suggest that you use nLite (see the first hit in Google search above).
If your XP CD Pro has NO service pack, you must first integrate the SP2 and then sp3 wake in this.
If your CD of XP Pro at service pack 1 or 2, you can integrate service pack 3 (for example, you can go from 1 to 3 without add 2).
Download the file from the service pack 3 Setup here--> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24
If necessary, download the file from the service pack 2 installer here--> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28

I downloaded just standard CS6 for windows and that you do not have an .exe for the installation file. I have a 7z file and an application file that I used to extract the 7z files. I am now at a fixed support.
Hello
You must download the file [.7z] 1 and 2 [.exe] file. Once downloaded, keep both files in the same folder.
Then run the .exe file and it will extract the CS6 Installer for you. With which you can install your software CS6.
For CS6 direct download link: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html
You can also check this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs6-install-instructions.html

I have Windows 8 and that you can't find the woreless icon to configure my router
I have HP envy23, Windows 8 and that you do not find the wireless icon to configure my router.
When you request support, please provide the complete product of the HP computer in question number. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models which are all different. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.
The information requested above are at the bottom of your computer or inside the battery compartment.
If you try to connect to a wireless network, type "connect to a network" on the new Windows 8 Office as shown in the following example.

You can try loading the latest driver available in Compatibility Mode which sometimes
work however, it isn't anywhere near a sure thing.Exhausted all other methods in the Troubleshoot utility above before trying these.
Logon as ADMINISTRATOR for all of them.
You can try Compatibility Mode but this rarely works on the device drivers.
Right click on the driver executable (.exe) file - select Compatibility Mode
In the drop-down menu choose XP or Vista and Service Pack (if it is the version
"you try the drivers).Click OK, and then let the race to see if it will install.

It also rarely works on the device drivers but it is worth trying:
Another method to try is to run the .exe (if self extraction) or Unzip (if it is compressed) to a folder:

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete. If necessary, check that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver. ???
I just burn a CD with no problem at all. Using the same type of CD, brand new, I tried to burn another CD and got this error message:
Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete. If necessary, check that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver.
I close all programs running, restarted my computer, changed on the devices tab, the speed of burning... everything I know to do and all the things I've read in these forums, no luck... still get the exact same message. No idea why my CD-writer has decided to stop working for me?
