I have Windows XP. Can I install a second hard drive which will act as an extension of my current hard drive?

My computer is windows XP.   Can I install another drive hard 160 GB to work in connection with that that I have in it?

As long as your Windows XP partition is formatted NTFS, the answer is Yes.
