  After I installed a new motherboard and CPU I got a stop error 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XB77EA756, 0XB84C742C, 0xB84C7128) and it restarted immediately. It always starts in safe mode, but I can't understand what is wrong. The old processor is a pentium 4 3 ghz, not sure what the motherboard was, new processor is AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 4200 + and I only know that the motherboard is an ASUS socket AM2. Device Manager does not recognize the CPU correctly, it shows just two entries called processor. I am running windows XP home, I removed my video card, running 2 hard drives at 120 g (M) and 200 g (S), a DVD drive (M) and a reader of CD (S), and a stick of RAM to 1 GB.

  If you have made the change without having to reinstall XP, you will be taking and Pray H@ll. the best thing to do would be to reinstall XP and make sure you have the drivers available for your motherboard available so that you can update the installed chipset.   I don't have a Vista DVD that I bought the upgrade online. I have it on a spare SATA drive and can't burn on a DVD because for some reason any damned, it is slightly larger then what fits on a 8.4 GB DVD. I have a disc XP full version. The current installation is a clean vista who, for now, I forget exactly how I managed, but I remember that you can do a full install with upgrade to vista as long you have your original cd of XP handy.

  When you use the Flash cards they still "spoil" i.e. blurring and basically they are unusauable. I went on the site of toshiba and downloaded the latest package of added value.

  However, when I run the Setup it says its already installed and I should remove in Add/Remove Programs (Control Panel). However, it is nowhere to be seen in the list and ive also studied on ccleaner and advanced unistaller pro. There is no way that I can remove the old... so I can't install a new!

  Have you installed the same CPU than before, or have you installed a different CPU?

  I checked the manual of the Satellite 1410 and he normally equipped with an Intel Celeron CPU processor and in my opinion, it is the reason why it doesn't work.
  Upgrading the CPU is not being official and it seems that the motherboard and BIOS don't support this CPU.

  Usually your chipset is capable of a maximum of 4 GB of RAM, but due to the limitation of the slots (Slot 1 cannot handle a 1 GB module), you can move only to 2 GB maximum, because your machine has only 2 slots.

  I recently formatted the partition boot and recovery of a laptop Medion2230, then merged the two partitions in a single NTFS partition.  Don't ask why, it's a long story.

  Then, tried to install a new copy of Windows XP Home.  Everything is OK until the final phase, when the "Blue Screen of death" appeared during the installation of the drivers. Restarted and installing XP as normal to repeat the first onboard staged and went to the "blue screen" at the same point as before.

  Using some diagnostic software, I reformatted the drive again, loaded XP set up and I had the same problem.

  Now solved and pc with Windows XP home.

  Discovered a trick online, who said that at the beginning of XP installation, press F5, and this leads to a screen option - select 'standard pc' and continue with the installation of XP.

  Thanks for letting us know what you were doing.  Do you have all the necessary drivers after loading Windows XP?  I would not recommend using the default drivers for any hardware - always see what the manufacturer offers on their web page for each component of your system - card motherboard chipset, audio, video, network devices, etc.

I noticed, however, that many of the sounds in the sound library had an icon to download next to them; so I went to the GarageBand menu, option "Sound Library / download all the available sounds" and they begin to download immediately. Close and re-open GarageBand to download and install again. »
