I bought my laptop in UK and I intend to improve my system Vista Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.
In some forum users have mentioned that.
Users with nVidia graphics card should check the temperature of this device before upgrade.
In this way you will know is it works fine under Windows 7 also.
How you can check your laptop CPU (processor), the GPU (graphics card), the motherboard or HARD drive temperature?
To do this use HWMonitor (free and recommended) or Aida64.
Q1] what is the minimum temperature / best should have the CPU and GPU, motherboard, HARD drive?
Q2] is that this temperature is sufficient to upgrade to Windows 7? It will create no problems after the upgrade to Windows 7? This is the value of the temperature of my system of CPUID Hardware Monitor v1.22

I am frustrated with Microsoft Corp., why didn't they make things easier for users to enjoy. I noticed all the announced sounds so pleasant during installation. Everything suddenly it asks for windows professional service pack 2 CD. where I go to get this information from?

I have service pack 2 for windows vista and also downloaded service Pack1 as your site suggested but service pack 1 is not displayed under "windows edition" in "properties of the computer. Please could you tell me what to do. Why he said that service pack 1 is installed but only service Pack2 shows "Windows edition"?Hello
Family Vista premium to windows 7 Professional is NOT an upgrade path
You must do a clean install of windows 7 Professional with a full license of Windows 7
and have you run the windows Upgrade Advisor 7?
and you have the specifications of systerm in windows 7?
and acer windows 7 drivers available for your model deo0s machine?

Hello
I see that you have a problem in the installation of new Windows USB port. It seems that your HDD was not detected, right? It's because your laptop uses a SATA HDD.
what you need to do are:
1. download the driver AHCI SATA website of intel. (just google it)
2. copy the files (size 700 KB for 6 files) into the new USB
3. reboot and install your laptop with win 7 (dvd/usb)
4. by the time win 7 installation reached the drive to install (none detected), click load drivers.
5. now load your other USB SATA drivers.
6. then will show all disks in your system.
7. continue with the installation process.
hope this helps.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-see-hidden-files-in-Windows/
Windows XP and Windows 2003
To enable the display of Hidden files follow these steps:
- Close all programs so that you're at your desk.
- Double-click the icon for my computer.
- Select the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
- When the new window appears, select the view tab.
- Put a tick in the box display the contents of system folders.
- Under the section files and folders hidden , select the radio button Show hidden folders and files.
- Remove the check mark from the Hide extensions of known file typescheck box.
- Remove the check mark from the box that Hide protected operating system files.
- Press the apply button and then the OK button and shutdown my computer.
- Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.
Now, go to this site:
C:\Windows\System32\dllcache
See the missing file by accident? If so, it can probably be safely copied to this location:
C:\Windows\System32
Oh, and what's the name of this file? And what is the make, model and model number of your PC?

I installed Windows XP Professional on MacBook Pro with a Windows XP CD is a Dell machine.
I want to activate windows now, but I came to know that the Windows XP Professional license is no longer available on the market.
Please guide me this license to purchase to activate it?
If the Windows 7 key can activate windows XP Professional?
I don't want to go to Windows XP Mode because we have one standard on our local network for all PC is Windows XP Professional.
Thank you
Khawar Pasha
First of all - what you were doing was not a legitimate path in the first place. The Dell OEM was probably already used on a Dell system at some point.
Second - to activate Windows XP Professional OEM, you need a product key for Windows XP Professional OEM. No, the Windows 7 licenses will not help you.
Probably your only choice (and is not the best) is to locate someone sell Windows XP Professional on the Internet, find the provider that you can trust most, purchase and use of the CD and the product key you get to install.

Can I use this OEM key to install Windows XP Professional if I have a drive to it?
XP Professional OEM licensing
I just bought a computer refurbished without an operating system installed. He has a professional for an OEM XP license sticker. All parts of this machine are original. Can I use this key to install Windows XP Professional if I have a drive to it? What I have to use the drive originally came with this computer or can I use the one that came with another computer?
Hello
Yes, you can install Windows XP Professional if you have the disc for the OEM copy supplied with the computer.
