  Depends entirely on this laptop you have. If it has a 64-bit processor

If it is unchecked then go ahead and check it and click OK when you are finished. It should appear in the Games folder in the start menu and Explorer games now.   Using an Extender X 2 double your minimum opening.  The opening of the 100-400 is 4, 5-5, 6, so if you double it is 9-11.  The maximum of 5 d 3 can autofocus is f/8, and I think that it is only the point central (and with the firmware?  I don't remember).

  Long story short, no AF with the 2 X.   With 1.4 x center point should work.
