  • I dropped my phone in a small bowl of water, but only the top wet! (Camera and side buttons)!

I dropped my phone in a small bowl of water, but only the top wet! (Camera and side buttons) but I caught as fast as I could and I put it in rice! The camera picture and everything work fine, but these last two days the phone has acted a bit! As it is a bit slow (which im hoping is just my access provider) and this morning I plugged my headphones, but they were not involved. It's as if they are not yet connected. Until I restarted my phone! All this may be water damage! Once again; the camera works very well and the buttons are too! I can take it to the Apple Store to watching it!

Is one of the newest phones.   He should not have these problems.   Water works in many ways where electrics are concerned, and few of them are to our advantage.   Bring it to your local Apple store and ask for an assessment.

    Guarantees exclude the water damage.

You need to activate the phone. There is nothing that the phone can not be activated.

  • dropped the phone in the toilet, now it will not load

I dropped my phone in the toilet, I immediately caught and dried it and everything seems to work fine but when I went to plug my charger it says that he is not certified and may not work reliably with my camera, then he drains the battery, but it has never done this before. What can I do to stop this? Should I water damage? If so is there anything I can do about it without having to pay for the repairs? Thank you. I have no rice to put it in.

Yes, it is water damaged now.

Take it to Apple and buy one out of warranty replacement for her.

  • My iphone 6 had belkin invisiglass protective screen installed and broken just drop a foot on soft carpet.  Anyone else had problems?

I got the Belkin invisiglass screen protector installed on my iPhone at an Apple store in early February 6.  I held in my hand a foot on the carpet, he slipped and the screen seems broken.  I hope it's the invisiglass that's broken and not the screen.  Is this possible?

When you drop your phone, damage is still possible.

  • I also dropped my phone in water

.... I dropped my phone in the water yesterday. I could not find a question previously posted with my particular problem but then there it goes.

the phone was completely submerged. The screen was not at the time, and after having disconnected from the case and he wipe I could out safely. The screen turned on fine during the process. Immediately, I used a paper towel to absorb as much water as possible from the charging and the opening of speaker/mic. Fortunately, I had one of these charms plug in the mic input and keep it dry. Once the paper towels stopped showing visible signs of water I have wrapped it in a dry and stuck it in a plastic container with rice, covered completeky. It was last night at 730 pm. The container was not completely closed, the CAP was slightly unscrewed.

This morning, I tried to put running at about 06:30. It worked fine, I was sending messages, I received a few alerts, my alarm clock rang, etc.. After five minutes, the screen went green full and began his studies through (changed to purple, then blue) colors. I immediately made off tough and I have since put back in the container except that now I closed it completely and will no doubt leave there for 48 hours.

What are the chances of coming back? I burned the graphics card? If so is it easy to replace?

the phone is unfortunately no longer under warranty and I never had insurance for him.

    Thanks for your time.

Normally turn you off the coast, but in a bag of rice uncooked for 5 to 7 days.

The water has probably damage your phone, if not now it will be done later the line.

You can buy one out of warranty iphone on the Apple store.

Water damage is not covered by Apple warranty.

This is a complete scam and one that has become very common these days. . Don't think anything such a caller said, do nothing that he tells you to do and hang up on him immediately.

At let them into your computer? If you did you are at serious risk for what they could have done it (installed spyware? Identity theft? Steal the passwords?), and I highly recommend that you do the two following:

    1 reinstall Windows properly

    2. change all your passwords, especially those of the financial institutions and online stores.

  • I just got a phone call from a man claiming to be a tech windows

I just got a phone call from a man claiming to be a tech of windows. He told me that he had to call me because of the high number of junk that has been downloaded and my windows updates. Is this for real?

    Hello Angiee57,

As usual, this is another scam.

Unless you have a support contract prepaid or you raise a support ticket with Microsoft, no Microsoft will call you about the problems with your PC.

All these crooks are trying to do is access your PC so they can steal your personal data, which is bank details etc. Under no circumstances should allow you remote access to your PC.

Original title: "I JUST HAD a CALL BY a GENTLEMAN WHO LOOKED THE ACCOUNT THEN TYPE ' EVENT .

I just got a phone call from a company stating that they were working on behalf of Windows he asked me to turn on then press control and 'R' together - when the dialog box open to type in "EVENTS", I put the phone down - I don't want to be rude, but is this real society - I was unable to call the John company

    Hello John

Without that society is not authentic. It's all part of a scam to gain access to your pc and steal your personal data.

Unless you have a pre-paid with Microsoft, support contract they (Microsoft) will never contact you for problems on your PC.

You did the right thing by hanging up on them. If that happens again, just ignore them.

  • Just had a phone call from a person calling themselves PC Tech and must stop their go more away

Just had a phone call from a person calling themselves PC Tech Support, acting on behalf of BT, Virgin, AOL, etc. informing me that my computer was infected by a virus, and tells me to download Teamviewer.com so that they could report all files on my computer that have been contaminated. Now, I am very concerned that it is a scam and I finished the call, as they were eager to get paid £144 for 10years security coverage. I was told that my current security system was not compatible with my server. Please I left some scammers in my computer and how do I ensure them go further?

This is a scam and that is becoming more and more common lately. But
worse, if you leave them in your computer, which knows what losses are that they
done there, or what confidential information they stole.
So, if you did. I highly recommend that you do both of the following
    immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.
    2. change all of your passwords, especially banks or other
    financial sites.

  • I just got a phone call (no number came as international) to say that Microsoft

I just got a phone call (no number came came as international) claiming to be from Microsoft and Muicrosoft are aware that my PC has programs that can cause my PC unwanted crash. They then asked me to turn on my pc while they could repair. This looks like a scam to me. Has anyone else had this type of call. I asked a lot of questions and the appellant was very vauge but insisting my PC was going to crash. The appellant gave me a number of 1786 6001340 I asked the appellant to put all this information in an e-mail message, which he said he would. We'll see if it happens. I think it is yet another scam that other users take note.

It is a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment. See:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .

Microsoft does ever not requested for calls.

(such persons may use names other than Microsoft as well)
