  I recognize the problem you describe. Simply, you install an upgrade. The product "calling" it asks for is the OLDER version of Acrobat that gives you right to the upgrade. You must now enter your serial number for Acrobat X or 9, to prove eligibility.

  • Looks like you have some issues causing third-party plugins installed here.
  • Holding the SHIFT key launch PS and click Yes at the prompt, see if that does the trick.

  If it's 6 of Lightroom, which is very likely.  Older versions of Lightroom came with a license that could be used for different operating systems, but the current version does not work.

  probably not.

  you need a platform swap (Exchange a product Adobe of a different version of the language or platform) but which is only supported for the latest versions of adobe.

  You can get the upgrade pricing and exchange platforms, or use an abonnemement DC acrobat and use on both platforms.
