  First of all, you can try to check what version of Internet Explorer is installed on your computer.

  If you are repeatedly prompted to download and install the Windows Internet Explorer update, I suggest that you try to check if Internet Explorer is installed correctly. See this article for more information on this:

  Hello truffels65, this may be a problem with adware on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  in case the error code is equal to sec_error_unknown_issuer, please try to add an exception on the bottom of the error page to verify the certificate, as shown on the attached screenshot:
