I keep having to restart my computer (Ubuntu linux) because I can't open firefox because it say that it is already open and running firefox bin

I am running ubuntu os and everytime I try and Open firefox to connect to the internet, it does not because that bin firefox still works even if firefox is not running. I have to restart my computer to be able to connect and if I connect on firefox, the tray is always running, it only started to arrive this week, this is due to an update that does not work properly and there set you.

    You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all other Windows 7, Vista, and modern operating systems are operating systems multi-user with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

    In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges on Vista and Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it may require more work you want to do. Better not to get into a bad situation at first.

    The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK.     Gmail button (in internet explorer) keeps having moved to the right in my taskbar when I want to keep it on the left (that's why I first open).  How can I get the taskbar buttons to stop randomly to reorganize and stay in order?  I'm talking about the buttons on list of my open applications and documents in Windows Vista.  The bar tasks are "locked", but the button of the window open with gmail in internet explore reappears suddenly in the good moments apparently random.

    It is in the middle part of the taskbar (what I found online so far is on the start menu, the quick launch area or area/system tray of notification, the location of the taskbar in full, either about grouping taskbar - I disabled because I would like to separate).  Can anyone help?  I don't understand why this is happening (or why microsoft would never do).

    Lock the taskbar that it prevents to be moved elsewhere on the office and maintains the different sections where they are - it does not block the tabs showing what is open where they were when they were opened.  There is no control for this function.  Maybe if you uncheck similar taskbar buttons group it will help, but I honestly don't know (and fear he won't make any difference - it may even make things worse).  This also happens to me and I was unable to find an answer.  I think that there are more than just random, but I can't telll you why he moves the legs periodically (sometimes it works fine all day and other days it happens almost immediately).  But still, there is no control for this function, so there is no way to tell him to keep a specific order or to lock an established order, once it has been created.  I suspect that it happens because the notification area icons appear and hide and new programs open and close and which changes the amount of space available and so he rearranges things so that they match and apparently does not always consider the original sequence in which the elements have been added.  Maybe if you remove the Quick Launch toolbar and then add again, the order will reset (but that I know not - probably not in the original sequence, which I doubt is logged nowhere - it did not work when I tried it).

    Unfortunately, I don't have a solution to this problem (and I spend a little time looking for even before myselff posed the question) and do not believe that there is a.  It is also unfortunate that you can't move them so they can be put back in the right order if they change.  I don't think that there is nothing wrong with your system or that it is something that can be repaired or fixed - it's just the way it is and we just have to live with it.  I don't know any 3rd party software that controls the order of tabs open in the taskbar program (but you can check out Bing, Gooogle,www.tucows.comand www.download.com to see if I'm wrong on this - here n "t all when I looked trying to solve this problem for my own system).

    I'm sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that.  I don't know if it's different in Windows 7.

    I got a virus and I had fixed my computer, but now whenever I try to start my computer it tells me that there is no device boot-able and for me to insert a boot disk, then press a button on any. Well, I looked through all the manuals and CD that came with the computer and not for the life of me, I can find a boot disk. It's an old unit, I bought it in 2005 and I've been using Windows XP. Then what should I do? Is there anyway to get a boot disk? Can I just buy a new form of program store like windows vista or windows 7? Please keep in mind and don't forget when you give inform me that I am unable to do anything with the tower. No internet access, no desktop, nothing, so that the download is not an option.     I suggest you to check the computer's BIOS settings to make sure that BIOS lists and recognizes the hard disk. See the computer documentation or contact the manufacturer to find out how to check the BIOS settings.

    After you verify that the computer's BIOS detects the hard disk, restart the computer, and then test to determine if the problem is resolved.

    If the problem is not resolved, or if the computer's BIOS cannot detect the hard disk, you may have problems with your hardware. Contact the manufacturer to find out how to solve this problem

    NOTE: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    I wouldn't do it. I don't like first of online scanners. And I'm not particularly fond of A-Squared. Instead, I recommend keep you MS Security Essentials, use MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware instead of A-Squared free and use the built-in Windows Firewall.
